SignUp Now!You can not loose what you did not earn! But we can sure loose our salvation.
Folks say they are saved already, when our redemption is still in the future.
Doesn't it stand to reason that if we DON'T "push through" we will not be saved...as Jesus said?My friend...I did not change my point of view at all..though I do suspect you are locked in on a thought and find it difficult to see past that thought....What I said was....Context....What was Jesus talking about? Salvation? No. He was talking about HIS people pushing through on doing what we are supposed to do in our lives...Ministering! Push through and we are protected..Our salvation is already a done deal...Jesus was talking about perks of the job, if I may put it that way.
The ones claiming to be the bride, or a portion thereof, and are not "ready" will be damned.Look at the verses about "The bride has MADE HERSELF READY; the parable of the ten virgins, five of whom made themselves ready, and five who did not and had to go get more oil; verses to do with the old and the new to make one new man...; We need to push through and make ourselves ready...Ready for what? Ready for the groom. Not ready to get saved.
As to what sect? Come on! Its in the bible...The teaching that all Christians are a part of the bride is churchianity doctrine. The WORD says the bride is the one who has made herself ready...
You are correct.Eternal life is NOT some future event, it has already been given, and even that before the foundation of the world!! (2 Tim 1:9)
1John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Again we are in agreement.Outward actions mean nothing if God himself is not the one doing the work!! This is called "fake" love! It looks good on the outside but gains nothing!!
1Co 13:2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
1Co 13:3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
We can loose what we are given too.You can not loose what you did not earn!
We can count ourselves saved, but if you stray outside of Christ, (into the "domain of darkness"), you can kiss that salvation good-bye.Those are the thoughts of a carnal unrenewed person. All true Christians know they are already saved even when we were still dead in our sins!!!. It is never a future event. If you are waiting to get saved, you are going to be waiting a very long time!
2Tim 1:9 who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,
1John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
Col 1:13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Absolutely! There many throughout scripture. One example is here which describes the Bride versus others who are saved:Look at the verses about "The bride has MADE HERSELF READY; the parable of the ten virgins, five of whom made themselves ready, and five who did not and had to go get more oil; verses to do with the old and the new to make one new man...; We need to push through and make ourselves ready...Ready for what? Ready for the groom. Not ready to get saved.
As to what sect? Come on! Its in the bible...The teaching that all Christians are a part of the bride is churchianity doctrine. The WORD says the bride is the one who has made herself ready...
Now you are believing contrary to your own belief. We can count ourselves saved, but if you stray outside of Christ, (into the "domain of darkness"), you can kiss that salvation good-bye.
Ergo...endure till the end.
We can loose what we are given too.
God will judge righteously on the final day.
You are a day late, and a dollar short. We have already been raised with Christ into Heavenly places in Christ, and even when we were still sinners!!You are correct.
What is the divisor between who will live that eternal life in heaven and who will reside in the lake of fire forever?
How can a person loose their salvation if whoever is born of God sinneth not for he can not sin because he is born of God?(1 John 3:9)We can count ourselves saved, but if you stray outside of Christ, (into the "domain of darkness"), you can kiss that salvation good-bye.
Ergo...endure till the end.
This is why you do not have foggiest idea what you are talking about! Logical analytical reasoning of the Word God always comes out wrong, and in error, which you are in!!!We can count ourselves saved, but if you stray outside of Christ, (into the "domain of darkness"), you can kiss that salvation good-bye.
Ergo...endure till the end.
Does it stand to reason that God says something and we tell Him what He means? We push through in that we resist the enemy. That means we wage war on the enemy. Make him flee from you. Does it stand to reason though that God says you are saved and we refuse to accept that fact?Doesn't it stand to reason that if we DON'T "push through" we will not be saved...as Jesus said?
It seems like a "Do this to be saved" commandment, but you see no penalty for noncompliance.
Is there no penalty for refusal to "push through"?
Christians who are not part of the bride would be 'The wedding party' Why do you think its so hard to get into heaven? The ones claiming to be the bride, or a portion thereof, and are not "ready" will be damned.
Or you can confess your sin and God who is faithful and just will forgive you your sins and will cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness....thus restoring you to being the righteousness of God in Him.We can count ourselves saved, but if you stray outside of Christ, (into the "domain of darkness"), you can kiss that salvation good-bye.
Ergo...endure till the end.
You're not taking that from the bible...The ones claiming to be the bride, or a portion thereof, and are not "ready" will be damned.
A lot of people can fake being a Christian for years, but the seed they are born of will always end up having the last word...so to speak. Now you are believing contrary to your own belief.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
