Have you ever wondered that the word homosexuality is really rising in todays world... Questions against the church regarding this topic has risen...

Let me put my opinion... What i believe is homosexuality can be a sin only if you engaged yourself in intimate relationship(sexual relationship)... The bible says that we should love our neighbors as we love yourself ( Mark 12:31) in which i understand as there's no sin to love the same gender... But engaging in sexual relationship is a sin... I'm not a bible man or a pastor but I just had my opinion..
Do tell Me what do you think?
 
It is clearly written in the bible that man shall not lie with man. Its totally ok to love other men... infact we are supposed to love everyone the same way we love our own family. But if you have sexual thoughts about another man it's wrong. If someone wants to be a Christian and feels this way he needs to ask the lord to pour the holy spirit upon him to help correct his thinking. And there are many other ways to correct the perverse incorrect brain patterns that Satan has corrupted.

That is exactly what we should be telling them. This doesn't just apply to homosexuality, but anyone who is living a sinful lifestyle.

1 Tim 1:9; realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers
1 Tim 1:10; and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching,

Rom 1:26; For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural,
Rom 1:27; and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
Rom 1:28; And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

Rom 1:32; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only those who practice these things, but also those who give approval to those who practice them.

Merely approving of others doing it makes you just as guilty. But love has nothing to do with homosexuality. Loving someone of the same sex
doesn't make you a homosexual. Sleeping with them does.

Lev 20:13; 'If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.
 
I, and I believe all, must hold to Jesus's position. Believing fully that He knew and knows all hearts and minds even every thought of everyone therefore every gay person alive at His time and in fact every last gay person. He never said a condemning word. In fact He never mentioned the word gay or any reference to it. In case you are considering Old Testament references as anyone would immediately rightly consider you would be left with explaining not just Jesus's reference and association with serious sinners but the example of the woman in John who was caught in the act of adultery the punishment for which was the same for homosexuality. So I would extend this hypothesis that Jesus respect for any and all sinners is absolutely perfect in fact this respect even carried over to His betrayer. In case you believe He never condemned anyone I would direct your attention to His references to the religious. So these things being true the position we must occupy is a position of PERFECT RESPECT, harmless, compassionate and in grief for their suffering for I don't know a single gay person that does not exhibit a personal state of pain.

I mean a person who has a same-sex attraction. That person can't enter the kingdom of God?

This is taken out of the context it referenced which is 1 Cor 6:7-8 see if you can glean the thing referenced.
Nothing we say or consider should negate the power and the meaning of The Cross.

Everyone who eats the flesh and drink the blood of christ can reach the Kingdom.... N if the homosexuals are sinning we too sins right and to wash our sins away.. Christ came to earth...
 
Nothing is greater than The Cross. If any sin is greater than The Cross then I am eternally lost. If death is greater than The Cross then all Life is futile. We have been given a gift of Grace and Glory and no position should be adopted that in any way at all diminishes its work. Real Love breathes freely under the blood shed upon it. The sin however grievous and dark dies in the power of our abiding Faith in its work.
 
It says in Proverbs that we're not to have any thoughts that are sinful and not pure, and God considers homosexuality sinful so we're not to have any homosexual thoughts.

Proverbs 15:26 (MEV) "The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, but the words of the pure are pleasant words."
 
It also says that we are to hold every thought captive and subject to Jesus Christ and we will answer for every unfounded word. So the standard for us as believers is far greater than for the sinner or unbeliever. Yet without argument while we were yet sinners God (Christ Died for Us) As a Christian I pray for righteousness and His empowerment and much scripture references where our righteousness comes from and how it is established within us. The issue then is positional if Christ is our life sin dies within us. Temptation may come but if we seek and walk in The Spirit we shall overcome.

It's not about whether the cross is greater than sin. It's about which road you choose.

Matt 7:21; "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Matt 7:22; "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
Matt 7:23; "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Did the cross cover these peoples sins? No, was it because it couldn't? No. Was it because they chose to keep living in sin? (practicing lawlessness) yes.

Matt 25:10; "And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.
Matt 25:11; "Later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.'
Matt 25:12; "But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'

Again, could "the cross" allowed for these virgins to enter? Of course it could have. Did it? No. Why they "chose" not to be there.

Matt 25:24; "And the one also who had received the one talent came up and said, 'Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you scattered no seed.
Matt 25:25; 'And I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.'

Could the have covered this servants short-comings? Yes it could have, but it didn't why? Because it wasn't powerful enough or because the man was a wicked and lazy servant?

Matt 25:26; "But his master answered and said to him, 'You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed.
Matt 25:30; "Throw out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

There is no salvation without repentance. To say there is, is a false gospel.

Heb 10:26; For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

Acts 2:38; Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 3:19; "Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
Acts 8:22; "Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.

These are dozens more passages like these.
 
Amen to all of that except this being true ( We Love Him because He first Loved us ). Will He come as a judge? Yes. He will judge right down the very atoms of us all, HOWEVER, are you saved by works or FAITH? All moral issues are positional in nature. What do you hold above you? The law that you cannot abide by or The Spirit that causes us all to walk in the law. For Jesus Himself has said HE has come to fulfill the law and not one letter jot or tittle would pass from it until it's purpose is fulfilled. Solve this mystery of Hope then, you will be white as snow without blemish can you obey the law to that extent? Don't try to walk in the law, walk in Love and The Spirit and rely on the work of The Cross. Like a little child, there is no useful effort outside of The Spirit ( without me you can do nothing ) the words of Christ. So here it is then First things must be First lest the gift of your life back to God be as Cain's gift and your lamp without oil. God Bless you brother. May your faith triumph over all doubt.

We must understand, though that the blood of Jesus Christ covers ALL sin no matter what. We must NOT encourage an un-saved person not to accept Jesus because of their sexual orientation. Jesus died for sinners. When he died upon that cross ALL our sins were forgiven past, present, and future. We would not want a homosexual or anyone for that matter to feel like they are so horrible or sinful that even Jesus can't save them. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that WHOSOEVER believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life that means a homosexual, a murderer, whosoever. No one is beyond Jesus' salvation if they are willing to approach Him and accept His gift of grace and love and salvation. So many out there nowadays trying to put the scriptures out of the context of it's original meaning and make sin acceptable, because they themselves don't want to change, rationalize the scriptures, etc. when in fact the Bible says the Lord's thoughts are higher than ours and we could not possibly understand His reasonings and choices. Both.

Jas 2:24; You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

But even so... keeping the commandments is not considered a "work" in the Bible.

1 Jn 2:4; The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
