Hello, my name is Vania. I love Jesus and I wanted to give all of my life to Him but I keep falling into sins. I have been trying to do everything I can but I always fail. I hope through prayer and support from this community, God will strengthen me so that my life can be a blessing for others.

HI Vania, Welcome! Remember, Jesus loves you in spite of your sins. Every one of us sins, and repenting from them can be difficult because Satan will do everything he can to keep us living in sin. It is a spiritual battle that we all fight. You do not have to stop sinning before you can give your life to Christ. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

So give your life to Jesus - ask Him into your heart and to forgive you for your sins. Then, repent (feel or express sincere regret or remorse for your sin). It sounds like you do already regret them. You won't stop sinning after you give your life to Jesus, but you will stop living a life of sin. There is a difference.

Welcome to the community @vansep

I believe this community will be a blessing to you.

I would recommend the following to help you in your walk with Christ.

Daily bible devotionals. YouVersion Bible has tons of reading plans and devotionals. Feed your mind with the Word daily.

Worship music. It helps you focus on Him and not your sins already paid for by Christ.

Church fellowship. A good bible based and doctrinally sound church is a huge necessity for growth and accountability.

Welcome and bless you.

I love Jesus and I wanted to give all of my life to Him but I keep falling into sins. I have been trying to do everything I can but I always fail.
I failed continually when I first believed because I sort of lack willpower, but that allowed me to see the difference between using my own willpower
allowing God to change my desires.

Romans 7:16 But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good.
Romans 7:17 So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.
Romans 7:20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

The apostle Paul; struggled just like we all do but he knew it was a reflex from the old way of thinking.
I am happy to pray for you and I know the others here will also.
Peace

Welcome to Talk Jesus, Vania!

Please realize that we don't have to clean ourselves up when we come to Jesus! He expects us to mess up...and He is the one who cleans us up. Lean on Him and realize His great love for you.

Welcome aboard @vania!
You've found an awesome Christian Community here at TJ that will laugh, cry, fellowship, pray with and for you as you walk in and with the Lord in your life. What you are now beset with in your life is familiar to many who have come before you and for those who follow you. Needless to say. You are not alone in what you are going through, though it may seem that way at the moment.

There are things that you can do that will help assist you in living a more abundant life in Christ Jesus! As you can see from some of the great advice given here. There are ways you can start arming yourself to battle back those things (sin) that are trying to hold you back.

Just remember you have fellowship here with Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus if you want. They will try to help as the Holy Spirit allows, and prayerfully assist with smoothing the rough patch in the path you now find yourself in.

So once again be welcomed :) with arms wide open

A little excerpt from a devotional I read a few years ago. Hope it helps:

"Jesus has given each of us a race to run. Each of our races are different, this means that we cannot compare our race with others. At times, our race is difficult. We become tired and worn out, but then God reminds us of how much we need Him! We are not running alone! We have the Creator of the world running beside us and He is willing to carry us when we cannot go on! In order to run and run well, we need to fix our eyes on Jesus."
