The sign nailed to the cross said "King of the Jews" Our Lord and Savior.

The 2nd coming, The Lord is King of Kings Lord of Lords, He will bring in the Kingdom of God. HE will rule The Earth.

Zechariah 14:9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Jesus ministered only to the Jews. The Law and Old Testament promises, were for the Jews... not for the Christians

Acts 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Ephsians 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Romans 15:
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Those under the Law were held to a different standard, under the covenant Promises

Christians are not of the Circumcision.

Matthew 10:5-6
5
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Christians are under The Gospel of Grace, cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb. We are the Body of Christ, Jesus is the head.

Jesus did however have Paul go to the gentiles, with the same gospel. For the gospel is for ALL mankind.

King of the Jews (sign) was a slander, but it could also be looked upon as truth in that the true Jew is one that is born again and he is their KING.

And I would beg to differ in that their were plenty of Christians that were indeed Jews of the flesh first. The original disciples and Paul and I would dare say a large majority of those that initially received the Holy Ghost as they (the flesh Jew) were the ones he spoke to mainly.

"And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed" Jesus was that descendant by whom ALL the kindreds of the earth are already blessed, they just don't know it yet.

Can't speak to whats being taught IN "church" these days, all I can hear is "come out of her my people" Her being false anything. Besides I AM THE CHURCH just as anyone else who has the Holy Ghost as they are the CALLED OUT ONES. AND WHERE 2 OR MORE ARE GATHERED IN HIS NAME WE HAVE A CONGREGATION OF THREE AS HE IS WITH US.

The modern thing that is called "church" today is an overcoming issue. In order to receive HIDDEN MANNA it is an obstacle to spiritual growth and must be left behind.

If you study closely the 7 letters to the 7 churches in Revelation you will find yourself in one of the given situations, overcome the situation and a reward awaits you. Then press on to the next. Those letters indeed were for the churches of then just as they are all for you today. Overcomers are those who recognize their situation within the 7 letters, then take action to overcome the situation. Spiritual Sons need spiritual exercise.
And lastly we can never forget that we are not to lean to our OWN UNDERSTANDING and just over come even if it means leaving where you worship, for God is everywhere and available always.

And honestly these houses of worship are indeed obstacles to your spiritual growth that the Father has caused to come into existence to test you. Accept the challenge, and obtain the reward.

A good Father wants his children to grow up strong and right and will provide the required exercises to make that happen. Recognize it for what it is. An EXERCISE.

The biggest thing that separates the Jews is that they never the gave up the Law.

Acts 21:20
Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

Many years after Jesus had risen, the Jews believes they were better than gentiles of which the Old Testament Law encouraged. The Law did say it was unlawful for a Jew to associate with a gentile.
But with the Perfect Sacrifice, the Law was no longer valid.

Acts 10:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation;

Romans 6:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

it was 2 forfil prophcey!! God punnished his people coz of theirs sins.

Isaiah 5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: 23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! 24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame* consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. 25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

he hardend their hearts too.

Isaiah 6:9

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Isaiah 29:10 The LORD has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes (the prophets); he has covered your heads (the seers).

Isaiah 30:20-21 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

48:9 For my own name’s sake I delay my wrath; for the sake of my praise I hold it back from you, so as not to destroy you completely.

52:13-15 See, my servant will act wisely ; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. 14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him — his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness 15 so he will sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.

54:7-10 “For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. 8 In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer. 9 “To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.

you are in the ball park, thank you for all your work

In the 2nd coming, The Lord will be established as King of His Kingdom. The 12 apostles will judge the 12 tribes as Jesus told them Matthew 19:28

people will be call from all over the earth to come and worship the King Zechariah 14:16

Isaiah 2 King James Version (KJV)
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 3:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

As for Christians, we are part of Body of Christ and He is the Head of the Body. Christian are not included with those of the circumcision.

Our destiny is Heaven to be co inheritors with Christ our Lord.

I'm confused -- the thread title is "why is this not being taught in Church" -- been trying to figure out what the "this" is?!

These scriptures most of which are not discussed in Church. the question is why are they not discussed

Please read each statement you and answers one or more if you like. If you don't know it's OK, most people don't know. ask questions, force me to explain which ever you like. thank you.

I like this one:
The 2nd coming, The Lord is King of Kings Lord of Lords, He will bring in the Kingdom of God. HE will rule The Earth

Especially, The Lords of lords and King of kings. I wonder will you get this.
10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Rev. 5:10 KJV).

2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? (1 Cor. 6:2-3)

yes hardly any churches go into eschatology at all, avoiding the book of revelations all together.

@Dave M. -- lots believe it's all mainly symbolism / far too complicated and, you're right, they Do avoid it.

Even though the first few verses say "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to show His servants -- things which must shortly take place. .... vs 3 "Blessed is he who reads and those who here the words of this prophesy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near,"

It would appear that Lots of pastors / people / are missing a blessing by avoiding that book And missing out on knowledge that God Has chosen to give us.

I remember, pastors and teachers in church when I received the Holy Spirit, they told me to stay away from the book of Revelation. Then I read this.
"Blessed is he who reads and those who here the words of this prophesy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near,"
From that moment on “something ain’t right , the church and pastor are try to keep me from the blessing of God! I was right. Then if they tried to keep me from this, what else are they trying to keep from me. Answer: A LOT!

They told you that because they could not answer any questions you might bring to them. For most of them are not even born again and don't stand a chance at understanding what is written in the book. If they did they would push you to understand it for yourself right?

Jesus was a minister of the Circumcision

the Jews:Acts 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant

the Christians: strangers from the covenants of promise

Jesus commanded them: Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Explain yourself. You have repeated this several times and I guess were supposed to guess what it is you see and address that. I'm not sure what it is your trying to say so please draw me a picture. Expand it to explain what you see. Then maybe we can address it.
It's not that we are in disagreement but whats your point I guess?

I did mean to make this so confusing.

In my own words: Jesus was bound by the The Law, so He came specifically to minister to the circumcision to finish the work promised to the fathers of the covenant. this was this promise.
They had no idea He was going to die thereby defeating death. this was the mystery

The new mystery not revealed was that Paul was directly Chosen by Jesus Himself to suffer for His Name sake. At first He didn't know he had to turn his back to The Law.
He tried His best to convince Jews about the Gospel of Grace but in Acts 21: James tells Paul there are thousand who are zealous for the Law.
They determined Peter is for the circumcision but Paul is to teach the Gospel of Grace to the gentile.

As for the Christians, we belong to the body of Christ, Jesus is the head and co inheritors with Him.

to the Jews were the promises spelled out in the old testament. Our inheritance is in heaven.

The Jews(believers) never gave up the Law.

The Law nullifies grace. therefore you cannot follow the Law and be saved by grace.

Like you I want to learn and I teach what I have learned.

Thank you for asking. let me know if I am in error

please ask questions

rhern53 -- Jesus was Not bound by Any law. He came to fulfill the law. He became the Final Perfect Lamb of God to provide for Our salvation.

The 'mystery' is Christ in us.

Paul was called by God -- not Jesus Christ.

Actually, grace nullifies the Law. The rest of the sentence is correct. Following the Law does not save anyone. 'we' are saved by grace through faith.

Acts 15:5 "But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees, which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the LAW of Moses. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing , Peter rose up , and said unto them, Men and Brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
And God , which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
NOW THEREFORE WHY TEMPT YE GOD TO PUT A YOKE UPON THE NECK OF THE DISCIPLES, WHICH NEITHER OUR FATHERS NOR WE WERE ABLE TO BEAR?
But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved , even as they."

This passage shows that even in the early days of the Church there were those who did believe but were still teaching that it was needful to keep the Law of Moses and we find that today in the preaching of tithes and Sabbath day observances, to those of us that are saved every day is a sabbath day spiritually speaking. They were of course in error. And I would make an assumption that it was much harder for them to enter into the grace they received because of their background, but God can easily make those he chooses understand the truth.
"If you continue in my word then you shall know the TRUTH and the truth shall set you free." For them freedom was also from the Law, and to the present day flesh Jew that is called it is a tradition that must be forsaken like all religious traditions that have nothing to do with grace.

As far as the circumcision goes it was only an outer physical forerunner of the circumcision of the heart. Just like water baptism is an outward forerunner of the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. Physical representations of the spiritual things to come.
Sue is correct in that he came to fulfill the Law that was the only way he could become an acceptable lamb for such a sacrifice.

It was because Jesus Christ is the Son of God -- that He Could become the perfect Lamb of God on the cross. That's why He came to this world in the 1st place. He came to Be our salvation.

And, yes, there was the attempt to add circumcision To the cross. But we do know that the blood of Christ shed on the cross was sufficient for our salvation. No good works on our part are needed.

Were they only written for the Jews ? What about tithing ? What about many fundimental practices many churches use , all have come from old testiment teaching .

Let me ask you this . Is the Word of God limited to time ?
