Whos is the Ruler of this World, God, Satan or Man?

What has that to do with satan being the ruler of this world?
Spirit-filled disciples [and that is a debate of itself] do have power over satan and devils, but that does not mean that satan is not ruler of this world.

Ok But Satan is still not the ruler of the world, positionally....He does not have God given authority.

A very dubious opinion on the matter. Not supported in scripture. Go back over this thread and reread the posts that refer to satan as the prince and as the god of this world.
Yes the god of this world by Paul the apostle after Jesus' ascension into heaven, and after the Day of Pentecost and the establishment of God's church on Earth.

2Cor 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
4:5 For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
His authority as a divine being is God given and will remain until Rev 20:1-3

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD.
2:2 And the LORD said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”
 
Satan and the fallen rebellious beings do rule this world by divine authority from God - our overcoming them and gaining eternal life and to be with God forever is their condemnation.
Do you not know that we shall judge angels?

Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
1:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Acts 26:18 to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Nowhere in NT scripture do the apostles teach that satan's kingdom has ended. Individual disciples are saved or redeemed from the kingdom of darkness.
1John 3:8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
This is the strongest expression of what Jesus achieved through Golgotha and his ascension. That the Holy Spirit could be shed abroad to believers (disciples) and destroy the works of Satan in our lives.
Keep up with the news about how Muslims and Hindus are attacking and killing Christians worldwide, and you will see that satan has his disciples as well. And they hate the gospel with a vengeance.
 
Well I'm not going to argue about it...I've shown you where Jesus took Satans authority away....Nuff said as far as I'm concerned.

Psalm / David is before Matt 4:8-9 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

How do you explain the devil offering this as his final temptation and Jesus taking this offer 'seriously' in that He replied with a ''no thank you'' in verse 10.

The context of Psalm 115 is with regards to us reigning over all. Something like Gen 1:26-28 Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”.

This does not equate to us being the ''ruler'' of the world. It is on par with saying mankind is number one on the food chain. The devil is the ruler of the world. Paul speaks to this in 2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.

Free will can be a very long discussion.

I do believe that God has given us true free will. We see the wicked able to be wicked. If God was in ''full control'' we would not see 1000 Christians be-headed by ISIS. We agree.

But, yet, God is with Christians. Christians unlock His help by from free will making Him their God.

So there is a divide. The unsaved operate in a realm where God is not in control. I suppose this is why scripture says ''we'' are the visitors :).

10:18 And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

Rev 12:7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back,
Rev 12:8 but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world - he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
Rev 12:11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

Again Christians, especially Spirit-filled Christians, have power over satan and devils - In my name they shall cast out demons - BUT this does not mean that satan and his demons do not rule this world.
The world belongs to evil both demonic and human. Look how infanticide is being made legal these days; and yet it was Christian morals that saved babies from being sacrificed to gods.
 
Spirit-filled Christians are called OUT of the world > to be separate from the world > not to be worldly like others > to be noticeable different in many ways from worldly people > Titus 2:11-15

John 17:6 I manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.
John 17:9 I ask for them: I ask not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; because they are thine:

John 17:13 But now I come unto thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

We are bond slaves to Christ when he says do something ,we should do it. step by step. There will be a strong angel coming out of heaven with a chain and he will bound satan for a thousand years. Satan is not weak creature. He alway obey's GOD his creator. And when he want's to do something to a human being he ask his creator for permission to do so. And when he has "permission" from GOD the Father to "sift you like wheat". You cannot stop him from doing so! And if he has permission to nail you to the cross upside down, you rebuke in Jesus name all day long, and sing the songs of Zion in a strange land, you still going to be nail to the cross upside! down:eyes: crying"Abba Father"!

I would think it is Satan. At least according to Matthew 4.

Hello brothers and sisters,

The earth and all that is in It is the Lord's and the Lord has given dominion over it to man. The Lord has also given Satan the power to deceive man that is in the earth, i.e., Satan is the prince of the power of the air. However, once the Lord determines that all that HE has purposed has come to fruition, the Lord will redeem man and woman that have been saved through faith, HE will banish Satan and his cohorts and all that rejected the Lord, and HIS perfect etrrnal kingdom will be realized.
