You know... the Bible says we can ask God for wisdom.
Jas 1:5; But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Jas 1:6; But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
Jas 1:7; For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
Jas 1:8; being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
... but of course we have to ask without doubting.
The Bible also says we can pray for others to have understanding, revelation, knowledge and wisdom.
Eph 1:15; For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints,
Eph 1:16; do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;
Eph 1:17; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
Eph 1:18; I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
I am beginning to think we need to pray for another to receive wisdom here. Not my wisdom, or not the wisdom that causes me to agree with you, or you to agree with me.
But the wisdom that causes us both to agree with God.
