Grab a notebook or journal and your favorite pen. Write down all the wonderful things God has done for you and in the lives of others. This trip down memory lane will inspire praise—and praise looks good on you. It improves you ability to live unshaken.
Think about what God has done, what He’s said, and where He’s taking you. Be detailed and don’t settler for quick answers that sound correct. Dig deep and get specific, and you might find it leads you to remember even more praiseworthy events lodged strategically along your journey timeline. Praise Him for these too.
The unshaken get even bolder. They share parts of their story with the shaken. This isn’t an “I’m better than you” move. It’s a notice that says, “Hey, have you heard about my God?”
Let praise strengthen your courage and let God inspire praise.
Prayer: Father, I’ve never given You much to work with, but You take the very little I have and re-create me and make me so new that there are days I don’t recognize myself compared with who I once was. Thank You for this new life that keeps giving me reasons to stand—stand tall and stand strong.
