I have four and all before I became a Christian. IMO, If anyone is considering I would suggest to use/save that money for better purposes.
There won't be tattoos in Heaven.

Using an example of God showing what the pagans were doing not a one thing exclusive list and the rest are ok.
Regardless of one's feelings they cost time, money, and labor. Not saved by tattoos or not having them. IMO, a waste of time and money.

While I agree with that statement, it's still a sin, and something we are told not to do.
You said you got them before you were saved. I don't think God holds what we did before against us.

Thanks for sharing the video.
It covered both sides of the issue which is really appreciated. Not always easy to do, but they did a great job in identifying the scripture, explaining it, and adding graphics to hold one's attention as well.

I think of it this way.
Should we be pursue getting a tattoo?
Will people with tattoos be in heaven?
I think we should not get tattoos for many reasons including what the Bible says.
Tattoos do scar the body and nowadays in the culture they are often for self centered reasons, while
in the past pagans used them likely for rituals or to identify belonging to a group.
With that said, I don’t think anyone will argue that people with tattoos will not be in heaven
,nor would many argue that at times God may even direct one to get Tattoos the same way
God commanded one of his men to marry a prostitute.
So best practice is don’t get tattoos, yet if one gets one in sin God’s grace is sufficient and
It is possible that at time, though maybe rare, God might even direct one to do so
For God’s purposes in ministry.

The key is a mark of the dead. like the signing of the cross or rosary worship beads.
Not a literal sign . The differnce between sign and mark is key in understanding
Lev.19 28;Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord
Genisis 4:15And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark. (Mark of His word what he says comes to pass) .upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

I know God would rather a person not get tattoos, as the body is sacred. I do understand there are many people that come to faith after they get tattoos and I don't recommend someone who has surrendered their life to Christ to continue getting any more tattoos. These are just my thoughts.
