As Christians we must always guard our hearts and consider our motives.

We cannot merit anything from God, no matter what we do.

It must become a heart faith, and not just head knowledge.

Gal 5:22-23
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And the Holy Spirit wants to produce his fruit in us.

Let us have a good conversation on this, feel free to expound on it, thanks.

1Pe 5:6-7
(6) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
(7) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Of course in this case it is talking about casting our anxieties upon him.

But within the word love, there is a type of caring about others, and of course God cares for us.

And in loving obedience you will care about the truth, and seek to draw people into the truth.

1Co 13:4-7
(4) Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
(5) Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
(6) Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
(7) Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Love does not rejoice in iniquity, meaning that there can be righteous anger in love, but we all have to guard our hearts so it does not turn into bad anger but the right kind of anger, and right motives, but love does rejoice in the truth.

Via online, sometimes you can see that things are not going good, but other times it is harder to discern, I find, because you do not hear the tense the person is speaking in, whoever it might be.

But when speaking face to face, it is much easier to see, and I am just speaking in a general sense here.

So God is a good God, we all have to guard our hearts, and thank God for his blood and patience with us.
