The soul is you...who you are minus a body. The soul is influenced by the sinful flesh if not in-dwelt with God's Holy Spirit. Then we must choose to be obedient to the Spirit, the new nature, within us and not cave to the sin nature.

Adam and Eve -as souls- DIED. Neither did they go to HEAVEN or 'Hellfire'.
And so will all of us as we wait for the RESURRECTION!

Church dogma? Church doesn't dictate what a soul is. You have a soul whether it's Okayed by your church or not.

God's Power (spirit)+ his flesh made it a LIVING soul!
