Where is your rebuttal to my post # 68, I see you have gone silent on defending your accusation that I was lying. Maybe that has something to do with you and I not able to have a friendly discussion?
Because its not worth replying to.
Every single one of your arguments that sin is not what condemns is an out of context situation.
You're inventing a a new gospel to preach that almost everyone goes to heaven unless they are totally depraved, and under the age of 20 everyone is forgiven by default because they aren't an adult.
that almost everyone goes to heaven unless they are totally depraved,
and under the age of 20 everyone is forgiven by default because they aren't an adult.
whats your real motivation for this? no one in the church history has taught such a thing except for the universalists.
did you forget that Jesus said "the way is narrow and few find it"?
i know of a woman who twisted hundreds of bible verses to say that Jesus is going to be born again of a virgin, raptured with the church at 3.5 years of age, and return at age 7 after the tribulation to rule over the nations with an iron rod.
-what evil nations will exist after the tribulation that need to be ruled over with an iron rod?
-she, like yourself, can twist the bible to say anything you want, but you can't get around some of the simpler things Jesus said.
exempt from judgement is the same as being forgiven, which means you go to heaven, not hell. This is not my belief. You would have to quote me.

again, you're inventing new classifications of things that have no basis in logic or scripture.
and under the age of 20 everyone is forgiven by default because they aren't an adult.
That is just not in the bible, you've put together a seemingly complete argument for it, but there is an equal argument to be made for a strict, you die once, you are resurrected into a new body once for righteousness, or a new body to be destroyed in hell. there is no intermediate purgatory or testing.Mentally handicapped and all under twenty are exempt from judgment. That is not the same as 'forgiven'. God is impartial. It is only a matter of time before those exempt will, just like everyone else, also receive time and space to exercise their true free will. Rev 20:3 teaches this.

Everyone in this life is tested as appropriate for their age, life experience, information at the time of their decisions, etc. You seem to disagree with this by saying those who are "truly mentally ill" well. there are none. Now those who are substantially ill: They could be without sin, and thus, no need to be forgiven. Thus no need for judgement. They die, go see Jesus, and wait to arrive on the new earth.
Revelation 20:3 is releasing the tempter out upon the nations that exist at the end of the 1000 years. Onto a people who went their own way but were never tempted by outside spiritual forces, so they have to be tested one last time. why? because they are still living in ADAM's DNA, which is corrupt beyond understanding.
What you're saying rev 20:3 says, or rather inventing, is a doctrine that certain persons alive today will be tested accordingly in a new body on earth. That is not true: Only those who are born on earth during the 1000 years, or those who are resurrected if they were beheaded for their testimony of Christ will be on the earth. (these persons will not die again, living the entire 1000 years plus, and the purpose of them existing on the earth, is to prove by their existence to those who are born naturally, that there was a former time of great evil.)
Those who make it through the tribulation at the close of this age won't live past 120 perhaps, and they have no need to be tested again by the devil because they already were, in this generation. I don't have an opinion about if everyone born during the 1000 years will live to the end of that age. it seems some will not.
“Never again will there be in itan infant who lives but a few days,or an old man who does not live out his years;the one who dies at a hundredwill be thought a mere child;the one who fails to reach a hundredwill be considered accursed.
You and I, will not likely live to see the 1000 years in my opinion (now i do tend to think there's a possibility Jesus will return around 2033, but that is a distraction)
And so because of that, we will not be resurrected until after the 1000 years, and will arrive at the new heaven and earth.
Those alive at the end of the great war at the end of the 1000 years will either be raptured off this earth and arrive on the new earth, or this earth and heaven will be transformed into the new earth and heaven. its this latter interpretation that i agree with as does nt wright.

no, that's only for the specific circumstances that moses himself was in charge of at the time. For example, you say under twenty is my assumption, when Num 14:29 specifies God sparing those that age that were guilty of sin at a degree that warranted capital punishment for all who committed it and we have 17 verses clearly stating that God is impartial, 1 + 1 = 2. The only biblical argument one can make for an age of accountability is twenty and under.

again, no need to invent new theology. Now if you want to discuss Rev 20:3 and what God does with children and mentally handicapped, open a new thread or find the last one and I will be glad to repeat myself to you. It is an important topic for discussion as getting it wrong can terribly misrepresent God as evil. Which is kind of what you are doing.
or just admit moses did not speak for everyoneI am trying very hard to pick nice words to reply to you. You are failing at reading. Create a new thread if you want a serious discussion.
