A Day of Excitement

There is a day fixed in heaven
when the Lord comes in glory
to bring this world to it's end
this will be real not just a story

This will be a day of real excitement
for those that to God truly belong
seeing their king in all His splendour
united together in their heavenly song

No excitement has been ever known
like the experience of that day
when death is swallowed up in victory
for then God will have His final say

For the mass of lost mankind
there will be no such excitement
God the righteous one will judge
bringing about this world's retirement
