Sorry, but I have to point out what a funny name this forum has. "Talk Jesus"? That's actually grammatically incorrect, you can't tell what the moderators are looking for. Does the name of this Bulletin Board Site mean "Talk about Jesus", or does it mean "Talk, Jesus." If it's talk about Jesus, which I'll allow under the fifth amendment, then how do they intend us to take the implied prepositional clause cojoined to the unstated pronoun? is that "We are going to talk about Jesus." or "I am going to talk about Jesus while you listen." Does it mean, "You all are here to talk about Jesus amongst yourselves", or "Everyone here is here to talk about Jesus equally"? As a sentence fragment of two randomly juxtaposed words (random if read without context that is), the title leaves open many options for the user to construct a complete grammatically correct English sentence.Hello Rella,
Welcome to this online community of believers in Jesus Christ called Talk Jesus!
I hope you will find fellowship, and growth in God's Word while here.
Sorry to hear about the closing of the other forum you frequented for those many years.
I've always considered Talk Jesus as an Oasis in a Dark Internet. So, kick up your feet, open the Word, catch your breath and stay awhile.
With the Love of Christ Jesus, again be welcomed!
YBIC

My favorite professional sports team is the Cincinnati Reds. Less so the Bengals, and to be honest I never became a fan of the girl rock band the Bangals, pronounced the same but spelled differently. Who do you watch at baseball?
Well, like you, I can't wait to get started. I sure hope this site isn't run by Pontius Pilate and that I'm not the only journalist on here besides Lee Strobel. If it's "Talk, Jesus!" like the forum moderators were the Pinkerton Detective Agency or the head of the Sanhedrin or something, I'm sure I'll move on soon. I always have wanted to see Mississippi...or Rome, Georgia, or somewhere in the South.
Nevertheless, I do know how it is. Christians are all getting ready for the last judgement, after which they will sit in judgement in Heaven. Also, the crux of the life of Christ is His trial in occupied Jerusalem, so it's judgeyness all around! At least I don't have to put up with Lee Strobel at work at the Detroit Free Press. He isn't a sportswriter, thank God!
