Psalm 116:15 which says Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his godly ones. At 1pm today Sept 9th my mom went to heaven. She was 90 and it sure was no surprise to us. I knew the Lord told me she would go in the fall season,but asked him if for her sake he would make it sooner,for her sake, as well as my brothers sake. And the Lord answered. She went very peaceful,and quiet. I will miss her smile,and her kindness to strangers she always had. I will miss the fact, that she did not get to explain her vision of the Lord 5 days prior,in full.There is a scripture for her memory that was a favorite of hers, as well as mine,2 cor 1:3-7) She is now fully comforted! Comfort does not begin on the outside of us,it begins being established in Jesus own comfort, so that we may be able to pour out that comfort to others who so need it. ( psalms 30:5) weeping may last for the night,But a shout of joy comes in the morning! The joy of seeing,the joy of knowing just where she is!! For Jesus needs comfort just as we do,and he has picked a saint in comfort to remind him, how much comfort he gave to all of us!
