Yes as I was thinking as I began my morning devotion like I have been doing without fell, since 1977. My 1st. Boy Scout Troop I join was at a "Episcopalian" Church. and maybe a year and half later, I met some New friends in Middle School, and I join their Troop.
Their Troop was like "Crisp". and they Had a "Explorer Troop" too, all black, and Some Smart Boys, Proper talking. a Community Church, The Church had a "distinguish" Pastor, impeccable: " Dr. Carl ________"
What really impress me was, when went to that or visited that 1st. Boy Scout meeting at there as a visitor at the Boy Scout meeting. when they called on the young boy, that was in formation How he back out and turn and march to the Conner of the line and Military turn, and then he turned and march to to the middle of the troop and march to the front and did a about face and repeated by heart" The 23 Psalm, it was like I never hear such words of been spoken like that before. I still remember his name, His name was "Eddie Justice" and he Finished, he march right back the same way he came. and they were clean press cut; "Boy Scouts" and I joined and Learn by heart The 23 Palms and I have not miss a day yet for repeating The 23 Palms, and have had my children by the time they could talk, I would say to them in the car or in the House: Repeat after me. and they fall in line, and repeat after me With the sound of Beauty, in the tone of their voice, Just like their Daddy, clear to the Graduated from High School and went to College.
One old Pastor's Wife told me one day, when I was a young Preacher, I Like the way you repeat The 23 Palms. It sounds like you are preaching your voice sounds as you are talking to GOD! yes she did. { I am, talking to GOD and telling Him how I feel }
And all those years my wife did n't even know it, and how I would sit in the Living room, and I would pick out certain stories in the Bible and teach them, my children "How to do "interpreting Reading" by repeating after me, especially the Beauty of The KJV Language designed by "William Tyndale" known as the Father of The Modern Day English Language. The beauty of the Flavor of the Modern English Language that was design by "Tyndale". Sweet Jesus, A man so Gifted of GOD, He knew 7 different "TONGUES" and every Language, he wrote it and spoke it like they all was his own "Native Language" even Hebrew and Greek.
Now tell me, he did'nt have the Gift of "TONGUES"!!!!! and he could interpret them all! and needed not an interpreter! "William Tyndale" and if you didn't Go to any off the Bible Colleges that Bears His name on it. do not try me!
PS. The Pastor of My Boy Scout Church, his Grandson's daughter became friends in High School with my daughter in another "Township" and would spend the nights over each others houses. and Her Daddy had Become a Pastor of A Methodist Church in the next city, and his wife a Doctor obstetrician (OB), had become a friend of my wife who also is A doctor. and I kept asking about that name, the same name as the Pastor the Church I became a "Boy Scout" and a "Explorer Boy Scout" Now is that Not "The Providence of GOD", try; " John Flavel", it is so old it might be in "The Public domain"
