Just having a precious morning in the joy of the Lord. Thinking of a praise as I feel the Love of Jesus going out. And also out to a specific man in the hope that is in Jesus our Lord.
After church Sunday we were leaving and a friend pointed out a homeless man in the stairwell. My husband and friend waited so patiently for me in the car so I could go sit with this man awhile. I cannot tell you the joy this gives me this opportunity and I want to go back in the neighborhood and find him again. His name is Chris, he was drinking one bottle of wine and had two more to finish off. He couldn't eat and had holes in his arm from the hospital as he said he'd tried to commit suicide. I tried to find where I could contact him again and he gave me a vague idea. But I am so thankful to have met him. We laughed about things of no importance, and talked about Jesus through the conversation. He was lonely and when I got up to leave he thanked me for just talking with him. Thank You, Lord. A moment I cherish. Jesus visited me in a dream a while back. I think He is showing me a part of the depth of His love and I thank Him so! I had an encounter in our shop with a woman who took a dislike to me. In my mind, which is unusual, but it was my thought, I thought, you remind me of the witch in robin hood. She cussed and complained and was not at all liking me. Pam my dear friend, took over and saw her through the transaction and out the door. Thank You, Lord, for Pam. But I had a dream right after that and that woman was in it. And the Love of Jesus was instructing to gently lead her to Him. I woke up and the presence of the Lord and His love was so present. Praise the Lord!!! I am just happy in Jesus and thankful that He can give us a taste of His love and instruction that will take us to depths we haven't known in joy. Please pray for Chris and the lady if they come to mind, and I pray the Lord bring them into my life again, but most of all, that they know the One Who loves them so.
