Hi everyone,

I thought I'd start a new thread. It's called a thousand things Jesus has done for the world of today.

The aim of this thread is to note a thousand things Jesus has done for the average person, you and I.
Feel free to reply everyday and tell the world what Jesus has done for you.

Jesus gave me a simple answer to a complicated question today.
Why am I loved by God? God loves me with the same love as God loves God.

John 15:9
9"Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.

John 10:27-30

27"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;

28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

29"My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

30"I and the Father are one."

Please participate in this thread and tell everyone how Jesus has helped you, did He help you today, yesterday, ten years ago? What does Jesus do for the world of today?

Hello Teraside,

The things He has done for me is so numerous. The first thing that comes to mind is His words to me - "Peace! Be still and know that I am God" - Psalm 46:10

We worry about so much. We allow the storms of life to overwhelm us. One day when I thinking on these things those words were spoken to me. Instead of looking to Jesus - we look at the waves and we allow them to overtake us. Remember the story of Peter and Jesus on the water in Matthew 14:

28"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."

29"Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"

31Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

He showed me to look to Him and learn to trust in Him to take care of the storms. He is my source of strength and hope.

That is one for now. God bless.

Love,
Snowrose

Well, it's another one for me :) Jesus taught me something new. Maybe you know about it,maybe you don't.

He taught me that I will ask and He will tell me.

John 16:24-30

24"Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

25"These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father.

26"In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf;

27for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

28"I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father."

29His disciples said, "Lo, now You are speaking plainly and are not using a figure of speech.

30"Now we know that You know all things, and have no need for anyone to question You; by this we believe that You came from God."

Countless things!

"Peace! Be still and know that I am God" - Psalm 46:10

This has been in my head all day, for a long time now (several days).

Jesus Christ has given me SALVATION, peace, comfort, healing, restoration, wisdom, guidance, love, understanding, blessings!
