AMAZING DAY OF GUIDANCE (Testimony)

I left out this morning to run some errands for my mom. As I hit the highway, I am hearing Fort Smith, Arkansas. Fort Smith was put on my heart. I reasoned with the Lord; Fort Smith, I thought. I have no business in Fort Smith. I journeyed on. I was almost to my destination and I saw a woman walking on the other side of the road, heading the opposite way. As I drove by, I was to pick her up when I come back through in a few minutes. I took care of the errand and headed back. Yep, there she was, still walking. I pull up beside her and asked if she had need of a ride on down the road. She got a big smile and said, "why yes I am." She got in and I was then told she was heading to Fort Smith. I smiled. She said, "I was headed to go over the railroad tracks and there is a highway 64." I said, "Yes, there is. It goes through the back country into Fort Smith." She thought I was just going to give her a lift those couple miles. I told her, not only has the Lord provided this day and introduced us by divine appointment, but He has also provided the time to pursue this journey. I witnessed to her about the Lord and next thing I knew she was witnessing to me. She had left Las Vegas days ago and is headed to Tampa, Florida. She had walked away from the Lord somewhat; but has always believed. She told me how it has taken her as long to get through the state of Oklahoma, as it has taken her to travel from Las Vegas to Oklahoma. Wow; and a church on every corner. People would not give her the time of day. We drove for 2 hrs. East on I 40. I got her out of Oklahoma and we parted way in Ozark, Arkansas. We were both so blessed by our appointment with the Lord. We spoke of Him the entire way. Amen.

Little children, it is ALL about the Lord. Not just Oklahoma, but Christians all around need to wake up and be ye doers of the Word; sitting on your pew every Sunday and going about your own business the rest of the time; what have you gained? What good have you done? Only "self" is standing in the way. It is very sad that she was stranded in Henryetta, Oklahoma for 2 days, cause no one had any love and compassion in their hearts for her. Wow....and a church on every corner. Ya'll missed a perfectly good opportunity to be a witness for the Lord; and help a sister that was down and needed a lift up. Praise God, He sent a true servant to pick her up. Amen.

I was compelled to go with her a mile, and much, much more. I praise God for His love and compassion He has bestowed upon me. He is so worthy to be praised and honored and glorified. Amen. When we got to the truck stop in Ozark, Arkansas, I said, "I am going to pray for you." She said, "I wouldn't have expected anything less." She climbed out with tears in her eyes, and knew the Lord is walking her very steps with her, and that He will provide ALL her needs. When she makes it through Rome, Georgia; Sister Merlene Justice, I do not expect her to be unattended. She may need food and a place to lay her head. She is a good woman and she is our sister. She is Indian, with beautiful silver hair, and carrying an over sized purse for a suit case. She owns 3 pairs of jeans and 4 shirts and a couple pairs of socks. Have love and compassion and mercy on our sister.

Have you ever entertained angels unaware. When you go about your day with Jesus in your heart just seeking to give someone in need some love and compassion; everyone is blessed; and the angels in heaven are dancing and singing songs of praise unto the Lord; and a good report is being told to Him on your behalf. Amen. I expect nothing; she tried to pay me. "NO! This is our day in the Lord," I said. "God will take care of me down the road somewhere." Amen. She looked back at me with tears still in her eyes; I said, "We will see each other again one day." She shut the door and I was gone. Amen.

She is not an internet person; Her name is Jill. She is carrying forth the testimony of Jesus Christ. Amen. This woman, God has told me, believes an angel gave her a ride. She will carry this day with her for the rest of her life. A sister was found today and has returned unto the Lord. Amen.

ALL praise, glory, and honor be unto GOD. Amen

HOW do you learn to hear God's voice?!? I SO want to follow Him, to hear Him ... to know if it is just me or if it is Him speaking to me. Any insight would be oh so appreciated

Amen to your testimony, sister. Hitchhikers make for some of the best witnessing. Haven't had one jump out of the moving car yet.
Last hitchhiker, a Chinese lady, came to the Lord - baptized and Spirit-filled - it doesn't get any better than that.

@Waggles Amen, brother; be true to the Lord and what He has commanded His people to do. Be compassionate and kind to those in need; has God not made those who are poor in spirit rich in faith? He said He did; and I believe that. The poor, the homeless, the less fortunate are very rich in faith; that faith needs to be fed, watered, cultivated, ignited in their heart; God will not have His Word return unto Him void. Amen. He will give the increase.

I love my Lord. He cared nothing for His own life; He loved us more than Himself, and we are to do the same. Amen

God bless you dear one; may the Spirit of God and His glory rest upon you today and forever. Amen

Sis, @Ellie sometimes God speaks within the heart, that still quiet voice, and sometimes it is audible, sometimes He speaks through someone else (we may just be someone within hearing distance); but how do we know it is Him, and not us? Sis, try the spirits... spirit confess Jesus Christ come in the flesh? Sis, does (what you hear) exalt God, or self? The Holy Ghost will testify of HIM.

Seek Him, fervently and diligently; ask God to lift the dark veil. Eat of His flesh, the Word. Be consistent with God; with all your heart, mind, body and strength; God will be consistent with you. Revolve your life, the very being of who you are around Him, He will revolve around your life and become your very being.

We must enter in through Him, He is the open door.
Well, how do we do that?
He is the Way...we must walk in the same example He walked out before us.
He is the Truth. He loved the Father above all things and He loved us more than Himself.
He is the Life. Is He your life? my life is not my own, it belongs to God, bought with the price of innocent blood. He lay down His life for us, but are we laying down our life for Him? It is His life, not our own. In order for Him to increase, I must decrease (deny the flesh (self).

Is He ALIVE in our heart? all the time, or just when we fall down and need Him?
If anything (other than Jesus) is consuming our mind, heart, body and strength, we better lay it down, deny the flesh.
The flesh seeks after itself, for self gain and the pride of this life; external, worldly, carnal, flesh, treasures on earth, jealous, envy, bitterness, high minded, double minded, back biting...
The spirit seeks after the SPIRIT; it testifies of Him. Eternal,

Sis, in order for us to follow Him; we must first know Him. He said to seek the kingdom of God, first, and all things will be added to you.
Sis, speak with the Lord about these things; He is your best friend. He told me He knows your name, He has heard you, sis. And, He said to listen

Praise God, sis. Lord God, in the name of Jesus, I pray that your visitation come
speedily for my sister. Lord, she desires more. Amen.

14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will show you things to come.

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

1Corinthians 2:10 But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
2:11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Acts 11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world:
which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

You need to be born anew or from above by full immersion baptism [includes your repentance and confession of faith] and to seek and be baptized [infilling] of
the Holy Ghost [Holy Spirit] with the Bible evidence of speaking in new tongues. Read Acts.
Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him,
We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Look for Pentecostal Churches that faithfully preach the word of God and offer water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism in accordance with Acts and the epistles.
They will show you in the scriptures the Bible evidence that true believers spoke in new tongues as the only God given sign.

With the Holy Spirit dwelling within you then you will know that Jesus is your Lord and the Spirit will teach you of Jesus and righteousness. Often you will be "nudged"
in the right direction, or have a quick vision or thought that you should do something, or call in to visit someone...
If I think a bad thought or desire the Spirit gives me a sharp little pain in the sight of my first miraculous physical healing.
