A wonderful miracle

One day Imani and I went to Lake Kandle to go swimming. Imani was wearing a hair band that belonged to her mother.Her mother had it for a long time so it was really old. At the lake I begged her to go down the slide. She eventually said yes.She went down and when she came up from under the water the hair band was gone. She was really upset and was afraid she was going to get in trouble. I prayed we would find it and she wouldn't get in trouble. At the end of the day we dropped her off at home. The next day she did not seem upset, so I asked her if she got in trouble. She told me that when she got home she went in her moms room and on the dresser was the hair band that was on her head. The same one that fell off of her head. She told me it wasn't even wet. I was so happy. God moves in mysterious ways. His mercies are new every morning.

Thats really neat Heavensound. It reminded me of what happened to me about 15 years ago. I noticed my diamond had fallen out of my engagement ring. It was fine the day before that. Theres no telling where it fell out at. I had been out a few times. I couldnt find it in the car or anywhere at home altho I swept and vacummed everywhere several times and looked through it. I thought maybe it was down the drain but I was praying all that time that the Lord send the angels to find it and bring it to me. Can you imagine how many times I swept every corner for a month?? Especially the kitchen. I finally quit searching but still believed somehow it would show up. It wasn't important as jewelry, but as something sentimental from my husband. I had been thinking about him getting me another set of rings for anniversary anyway. One day as I was standing at the kitchen sink I felt the Lord said "sweep the floor" - I thought ohhh I did that so many times! But as I started to sweep, right at my feet almost where we walk constantly there it was! It definately was not there before that day! I took it to my freind who was a jewelry maker and when he went to put it back in he said this is not the same stone that was in it because this is too big!! Being a Jeweler he said it IS a real diamond , not glass, and it is worth more than the one I had. He would have to make a whole new bigger crown to put it in. The only person other than my husband that had been in my house was my Mom. So I called form there and asked if she lost a stone or diamond - she looked but her wedding and engagement ring had no stones missing. So the Lord not only brought it back to me but he gave me a better one!! Praise the Lord!

Awesome testimonies of the bands..lol! A diamond on the wedding band and a sister with a hair band! When God blesses us His mercies are bigger and His ways, despite our circumstances, are what is best for us.

So how much more when there is great need or tragedy - we can go to Him and He answers our prayers. "Now unto Him that is able to do EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANDTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK according to the power that works in us. Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages --" (Eph. 3:20-21)

Incredible! Just Incredible! We were all sharing on this thread about the little things, the irreplaceables. I forgot in my notes a scripture that I need to write out by memory on my midterm this week and then sister Gloria posts Ephesians 3:20-21!!!!

Amazing stories & a few to add

Hi Im new on here and was reading and your stories reminded me of a few things I would like to post if you dont mind.

1st story: My mom lost her class ring too, when I was 13 or something. My sister was 15. Well, she moved into my now step fathers old house when she turned 20 and was rakeing up the driveway to have it paved. She found a class ring and inside it said my mom's name and the year she had gotten it! It was years later since she lost it as to when it was found by my sister. The funny thing is that my mom had only been to that house for maybe a total of 6 months from the time they met until the time they were married and he moved in with her, and it was a rented house all those years until my sister moved in there. We had it cleaned and wrapped it up for christmas for her - she was shocked and cried so much. Praise the Lord for that blessed moment!

2nd story: I had just found the lord again 3 years ago and some things had happened to me with the Lord that my uncles told me I have the "power of prayer" so I decided to act on it (even if it was not true) so I began to pray for the ppl around me who truely needed it. My mom was really hurting for money and her furnace was horrible. I was terrified that her house would catch fire b/c of that old junky thing. So, I prayed for 2 days that she would recieve a furnace. But I didnt just want her to get it any old way - I wanted her to get it in a special way that she would always remember (b/c then she was going through a selfish time and I wanted her to see what she was missing through GOD) so I prayed that someone would show up on her doorstep with a furnace and tell her that her "guardian angel" has gotten her a furnace.

Wouldnt you know it....my mom came over a few days after I prayed that prayed and she was crying. She said your never going to believe what happened. She said, your uncle Jeff came to my door and said "look in my truck" so she did and it was a furnace, he said that it's yours and I will be installing it for free and she asked who did this? He said "your guardian angel". All she could do is cry! I was so heartstruck over it! I just couldnt believe that the Lord had answered my prayer. Since it was really the 1st one I prayed since I found the Lord.

Sorry for such a long post I just wanted to share that with everyone.
