First off, I want to thank all of you, my brothers and sisters in Christ for the hard work and dedication you are doing in serving Christ in these dark hours. Would there have been more such laborers in this world who are performing the end-time harvest you are doing now. As Jesus himself once said, “The harvest is plenty but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37, Luke 10:2)
I'd like to offer a word of encouragement to you and to the listeners as the spirit of God wills it in me. Many are thinking that God is delaying, that he is holding back and causing discouragement and discord among believers. Many are feeling darkness creeping in as they see the chaos unfolding before our eyes. We see the rising of evil in our world and wonder, “Is this not the hour of our deliverance?” or “Why is God abandoning us?”.
Do you not realize that God is not delaying. He knows beginning and the end as if it was the here and now. He exists outside of time and yet sees it all. Is he not the Alpha and Omega? Is he not the Beginning and the End? God knows all and he sees the suffering of the world and how we groan inwardly knowing that the days of evil are at our heels even now.
Do not see this as God holding back to make us waver, think more that God is waiting-waiting for that last handful of precious souls that are to be saved before he calls us all home? He is holding back the true wrath not out of infinite patience, but out of infinite love!
This is all the more reason that we should be going out and proclaiming the Good news! You righteous souls sitting on the street corner with your signs saying 'Jesus died for you'...keep going! You pastors and evangelists who call sinners to repentance, keep at it! No one knows who or when, but there will come a day that the last soul on this earth who bends their knee to the one true God will be the one God is waiting for.
Do not waver, my brothers and sisters! Do not falter in your faith and remain bold in your preaching! That last soul might be coming to you right now, and will be the last one to lock the doors on this world when we go out!
