about a year ago I developed these tics. I would always twitch uncontrollably. Over time they got worse to the point where I am right now. When I tic I swear and middle finger people. I can’t control it.
now I honestly think I’m not possessed by a demon but some people have told me this is a sign that I am. I don’t believe it but I’m genuinely curious on what other people’s opinions are. also, when I tic and swear is that considered a sin even tho I physically cannot control it?

It's possible that you may have Tourette's syndrome, although this tends to develop at an early age. I am not medically qualified, and so I suggest you consult your doctor.

Actions are judged by their intentions. You do not intend to offend God, or others, and so your actions are not sinful.

I pray that the Beloved restore you to good health, and give you ease.

Consult a family doctor who may refer you to a neurologist, unless your health insurance allows you to go to a neurologist without a referral, then go to a neurologist. Pray for guidance from the Lord Jesus Christ & trust Him to get you help.

Proverbs 16: 9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

What Is A Neurologist?

A thought had occurred to me. Not sure if this is to be the case or not.

If you are a believer that use tongues for private use or one who opens themselves up to the "Holy Spirit" on a continual basis, I suggest you stop doing that, pray normally knowing Jesus Christ is in you since salvation.

Colossians 2:5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 13: 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

1 John 4:1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

So if this be the case, call on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you from this & to help you to shun that tongue & that phenomenon, and pray normally, knowing Jesus Christ is in you & with you always since salvation to chase no more after those seducing spirits and even to avoid believers & churches that do that too.

Matthew 24:3 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

John 14 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. .....:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Matthew 28: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

If this is not the case, then feel free to see the family doctor for that referral to a neurologist or if your health insurance allows it, go straight to the neurologist. Course, if you have no health insurance, pray to the Lord for provision; help from families or the church or some cheerful giver(s), so you can see a neurologist.

I'll send up a prayer for you.

If you are under the influence of a demon, generally speaking, you will be agitated when you are physically nearby a Christian who has the Holy Spirit residing in them. (however, they may also hide, and your "problems" will go away) This can also happen over the internet but its less common. if you feel comfortable meeting someone in real life, try this website:
Deliverance Map — Isaiah Saldivar

to the extent you are responsible for what a "demon made me do" depends on a lot of factors, but in general you are not if you truly don't have agency. however, usually.. you have to let them take over in some manner. (and this may be difficult for you to discern right now)

praying on your own and asking Jesus to open your eyes to whatever issue you need to pray about (and or change in your life) should yield immediate results if you authentically want to change. if you just want the demon gone but don't want a relationship with God, then you may be out of luck.

do not neglect anything that comes to mind, Regardless how crazy it is or if it doesn't line up with your memories of events.

It is said to begin in childhood or adolescence, and so it might be the case with you. I cannot stress enough the importance of seeking medical advice; and of involving your parents (I guess they must be aware, but maybe think it's just teenage behaviour!). It would be unwise of me to say more than this, since - as I've said before - I am not medically qualified, and neither do I know you. Please seek qualified advice and guidance. This is not something to face on your own.

May the Beloved guide you, and grant you peace of mind, happiness, and healing.
