I have wondered over the years,why most denominations feel the necessity of church services both morning and night on Sundays.

I would think it is a good tradition of mankind same as Bible study or Bible preaching on Wednesday . Women gathering on Thursday. Kids club Friday .Men's breakfast on Saturday .Rest in the Lord on Sunday .

One tradition preaching by the pastors and Elder Sunday morning . . .men volunteer's on Sunday night . . . Tuesday free to do ZZZZZ

40 hr work weeks have always been a fantasy.

Around a fourth of the population is working sunday morning.

I grew up with Sunday school, church and evening youth group and then evening service and then Wednesday evening prayer meeting. And that was in a large congregation.
I think it's more spiritually nurturing to have all of those services.
It shouldn't be seen as a 'Necessity' but an opportunity to worship together / encouraging each other.
