I have two major vices in my life one of which im managing to master and the other is smoking.Two days ago i made a promise to God that i would quit once and for all.It may not be the right way to go about it but i have started cutting down as opposed to stopping straight away.I smoke between 30-40 per day and have only smoked 15 over the last two days,it may not seem a big deal but believe me it is.Ive got a doctors appointment to get some pescription patches or something,this coupled with my fervent prayer will get this dirty habit beat.This is a really big issue for me and any of your prayers on my behalf would be gratefully received.Thankyou.
i'll pray for you sparky. my boyfreind recently gave me an untimatum and so i have to quit as well. Its so hard!! i never shoulda started in the first place but gosh!!! i want one all the time! lol. BUT i'll be okay. lol.
I smoked cigarettes, for many years. It was very difficult for me to quit (I was a chain smoker). It was honestly the Lord and not self-discipline that enabled me to quit cigarettes. I didn't think that I was going to make it. I praise God because He delivered me! Now I need to diet. I am making progress.

Hello.. my brother, I can tell you I was honestly moved by your testimony! It is a testimony you know! You have already taken the first step. You are serious with God about Him removing this habit. There is no temptation that comes into our life that God can't deliver us from. You have made the 1st step towards deliverance. You have taken a step... now God will take two. Surround yourself with positive people and things until it is completely gone! Praise God for you, that you recognize change, God responds to that!
