Are we better than others?

All the human beings have sins. We do.
But, except the original sins, are christians better than the other people?
Sometimes I feel so.:thumbs_up
In my campus, everynight you can see young fellows get drunk and girls wear so cheap.
on the way from the Library to my home, after 11 pm, drunk people try to make trouble to you or girls hint on you.
Shame on them!:thumbs_do
Ok, I used to be one of them, but since I believed Jesus, I do feel the difference between my old life and the new life. Not only in my life, but in all the christians' lives I know. We are walking in the lights, and the other people still have been walking in the darkness.
So can I keep the idea that christians are better than the others, if we are not talking about the original sin?

To answer your question, no, JesusistheGod, we are not better, just saved!
Jesus was criticised for eating with the tax collectors, the prositutes, the sinners. We are to do the same.

Are we greater than the unsaved? No. Please read and meditate on Mark 9:35, Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all."

I have to take a look in the mirror every moment and ask God to release the ugliness in my inner cup, then forgive those who may have hurt me (many times its my attitude that causes others to react thus hurting my feelings) and then ask our Father to forgive me in Jesus name.

when I was saved I felt that exact same way to.. and I gew and was humbled.. and the bible says rejoice that your name is written in the book of life..

Now I just pray for my lost friends who dont know or understand what they are missing

Maybe our performance is good from the prospective of other people, but anythin can be called 'good' belongs to Jesus Christ. He is the reason for all good things.
