Are we Living to the Expectancy of God?
That is a question Holy spirit asked me. We all have to (self check) our selves at times.
It takes diligence, obedience, and faith.
So many believe in God but how many believe that he can supply EVERY need?
How many are willing to lay down the things of this world? How many are willing to pick up their cross and carry it to the full way?
God expects us to lay some things down in our lives that is stumping our growth.
He wants us to strengthen in Righteousness and be in holiness.
Maybe some of us are still holding on to those spiritual bottles because we have grown a custom to them. Spiritual milk is great but it is for babes in Christ. Once you become to a certain point of maturity in our walk with him we have to lay that (bottle ) down so to speak and start taking in the meat where we can grow in wisdom and knowledge of his word.
Are we studying, praying, and applying Gods word in our lives?
It takes diligence! I know at times I am so tired raising 5 children. being a wife, plus a writer.
I just want to rest . Its not always easy to schedule in a little bible study time an sometimes I have even took time to pray over things but this is what the lord was showing me.
How can we expect God to work in our lives if we aren’t seeking his word?
We expect God to move and intervene for us but yet if we search with diligence the very problem can be resolved is found in the word and with Faith.
Ezra chapter five is an example. It was a letter written to king Darius. It was a report about the building of the temple. They were questioned on who had given them the Authority and the response they gave.
Verse 8 says
The work is being carried on with diligence and is making rapid progress under their direction.
Same with us, if we seek with diligence we will make rapid progress towards the understanding of his word.
Listen, if God has given you a word for you to minister to someone or even a body of believers
Then do it with diligence. Don’t worry about what others think! Be bold and courageous!
He has given you a vision so prepare your foundation! Seek his word! Stand on his word! Trust him to run things. Let him in control over all things!

1 timothy 4;12-15
Don’t let anyone look down on you, because you are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and purity. Until I come devote your self to the public reading of scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift which was given. You through a prophetic message when the body of elders lid their hands on you.
Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
Hebrews 12:14-15
Make every effort to live in peace with all men, and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it no one misses the grace of God, and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile any.

Wow! You know we all at times get offended by a brother or sister in Christ and that is one of the hardest things to do is still remain Christ like to them even if you feel so strongly against what they say or do. I am even guilty of that.
But to remain in Holiness we have to forgive them and their offences and continue to work in unity!
We are not always going to agree with one another when it comes to the word.
I think of the many ministries over the years I have seen that has been divided and destroyed due to division.
Holy spirit cant work in division. We have to be in one with the Holy spirit. When we grieve one another it is as if we grieve him.
We must work for righteousness. Make our selves slaves to righteousness!

Romans chapter 6:15-23
Rom 6:15-23
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. 20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The New King James Version.
Obedience is greater then sacrifice! God expects us to be obedient to his word and to fallow him wholly and diligently. We have to leave our past right where it is! that is in the past!
Sacrifice our flesh daily!
Verse 11 says……
In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.
Example: lust, pride, strife, malice, fornication, and other worldly desires.
Strife will destroy a ministry!!!
When you are over a flock weather online or in a building.
We have to be faithful to weed out those bitter roots that can spring up and choke out the good.
God expects his chosen leaders too weed out them so the flock can eat the good of the land.
If we don’t protect our flock from such things they wont mature.
The wont be able to grow in his word and stand against trials and tests.
God wants all his children to be able to exercise every gift of the Holy spirit! He wants us to be strong and courageous!
When we allow sin of any kind into our ministry we are not fulfilling the purpose God has given it to us.
Galatians chapter Five: reference
Life by spirit live by present tense - go on living used of habitual conduct living by promptings and power of the spirit is the key to conquering sinful desires.
in conflict with one another.
See Romans 7 1 Peter 2:11
Galatians 5:22 –23 referring too
Christian character is produced by the Holy Spirit, not by moral discipline of trying to live by law.
Paul makes it clear that justification by Faith does not result in libertinism the indwelling Holy spirit produces Christian virtues in the believers life.
if we are not in obedience then we can not operate all the gifts of the Holy spirit.
Through Salvation we receive Holy spirit as a guide / through Holy spirit we receive the gifts If we are not obedient to the Holy spirits direction then he will not allow us to use them.
We Have to exercise Faith in his word! We have to believe all he has promised his word is for today as well as then! We can have all our needs met according to his word.
Faith is believing with no doubt! Believing in things unseen! For the things unseen are eternal.
We can believe God can work in our finances he has promised us those things. His word says if we are obedient we will eat the best of the land!
Same with healing
His word says by his stripes we are made whole!
When we give our life to Christ we become a new creation.
We have to be willing to lay down all former ways of life before Christ!
Eph. 4:17– 27
So I tell you this , and insist on it that you no longer live as gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God. Because of the ignorance that is in them due to hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity.
Could it be that when we harden our hearts that we loose sensitivity too the holy spirit?
We have to take a stand together!
Listen we all want the same thing. we can work together if we put Jesus in the midst of us and quit focusing on our differences. Think of the mountains we can move if we all operate together in one spirit. Think of those we could reach together.
This is a personal bible study I have been working on for the last three weeks.
My personal notes and no I am not done lol. God is showing me so much> Please I encourage you all to give me any imput too it. I welcome all of your input and ideas.

Dear foreverwjesus,

I am so glad you mentioned that it takes the Holy Spirit to make ones life beautiful. There are things that we need to do, but only the Holy Spirit can change us. And He will, as we learn to lay down our lives, puting Him first in all that we do. He will bless every effort!

I have found, in my life's experiences, that if I give God the first part of my days to Him - He is faithful and just to see me through and to give me victory over much. All I have to do is show Him that I mean business and He does not turn my efforts away.

I totally agree with you, that we can do much, together as one!

We must remember, though, that it is a "daily" duty of ours to give our lives to the Lord. If we are struggling with some sin(s), we cannot allow a day to go by in which we do not cry out to the Lord for deliverance. We must not give up, but we must take one day at a time, also. God does not want us to worry about what we did yesterday and He does not want us to worry about what might happen tomorrow. He wants us to think on TODAY and take care of it; beginning, with Him.

"Take up your cross daily and follow me."

It really is worth it!

A moment without God is worthless!

I have found that whether I live for myself or for God, I still have wars and persecutions, etc. Better is it, though, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

If you have a problem that is keeping you from experiencing the high of the Holy Spirit working in and with you; then, confess it. The Lord says,

"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

1 John 1:6-9 in the King James version of the Holy Bible

So confess that sin/those sins and get rid of it, and believe that when you do confess it/them God does forgive you and does cleanse you from ALL UNrighteousness.

I love Psalms 1 because it talks about a tree that is firmly planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season and its leaf never withers. This is how I picture all those who do exactly what it says in order to become prosperous and successful:

DELIGHTING yourself in the law of the Lord; and in His law MEDITATING DAY AND NIGHT.

Not just in the evening before you go to bed, but in the day, also, while the struggles are going on.

No one's day should ever begin without the Lord, first! Setting your alarm to get up earlier just to spend time with the Lord, makes the Lord happy. I know, by experience, and you can too, if you will just give it a try.

Love, in the Lord,

We have to live everyday like the last in the aspect of doing ALL we are called to do. We have to walk by the spirit and put God first in all things. There is so little time and there is so many people out there that needs to be reached. I know when I stand before the one true God that I want to know in my own heart I have exercised every gift of the spirit to the fullest and I have done all I know to do to spread his word reaching out to those lost in darkness. We have to take stand now. Thank you for your reply I praise the Lord for you ! God bless you in abundance ! your sister in Christ Jesus forever

Thank you, too!

You shared many excellent verses.

Thanks for encouraging me on.

I need you and thank the Lord for you, too.
