No, this question is not about left or right, but rather about right or wrong.
You see, it is written in
Proverbs 8:36
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
Sin is a self serving act, but many a sinner may not understand that in doing so they wrong their own soul. And God says in doing so they also love death.
But the opposite could be said of those who love God and love their neighbor as God commands. You could say in doing so they love Life.
Deuteronomy 30:15-16
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.”
Deuteronomy 30:20
That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
1 John 3:14
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
