This is showing the hidden world of Star Trek which I hold no rights to and probably need help from the staff to copy & paste a proper disclaimer in each OP for the forum to avoid legal hassles should the Lord lead me to write it.
I am also asking for permission as in asking any member here if you have a problem with me writing it. If so, I will not write it because I do not want to cause any one weaker in faith to stumble.
It is a waste of time, but yet only God can cause the increase in anything He leads me to write be it the normal way or by a science fiction story telling.
Right now, I am thinking of "Dark Trek: Buccaneers" and although they are usually referred to as pirates, but for a shipper of trades, one has to be aware of "pirates" and avoid them by tricks or crafts. Transporting Romulan ale unto the Federation top officials and needed medical Vulan supplies since Romulans view the weak as better off dead and left off to die as well as smuggling Vulcan reading materials and the KJV Bible in Vulcan !!!!
Thinking of starting it in the time frame of Star Trek Next Generation's pilot episode of Farpoint.
Also thinking of the Buccaneers secretly engaging in cloak and dagger stuff in helping the Bajorans due to Cardassian's occupation in which by the Lord's hand, made it possible for the Cardassian to leave Bajor, even though they pretty much strip mined the planet of the needed resources. They could rescue Bajorans marked for execution as well as rescue Bajorans from occupation camps and transport them to a habitable planet out of the fight but able to survive till it is over.
They will find a maze of sub space corridors that enables them to travel great distances to keep it as a secret to ferry much needed supplies & medicine to far off colonies. Also the KJV Bible in Bajoran!!!
Yeah... I will have a hard time incorporating the reality of Christ into science fiction. Even more so how a Christian is to follow Christ in that imaginative world since "cowboy diplomacy" will be necessary in many situations as the Buccaneers are not Starfleet so they are not held back by any oath to the Prime Directive even though by arrangement, they will convert a derelict from Starfleet's junkyard utilizing parts from damaged or scrapped starships to make one working one, and renaming it without the U.S.S. on its hull as would be required for not impersonating a Starfleet vessel.
The owner is Earthling; It will have a Klingon for its Captain only because of necessity of dealing with any Klingon since they travel through their space in transporting to & back from the Romulan Empire.
A supposed Vulcan for its first officer but is half Betazed while his son is half human and has precognitive abilities because the dreams are sent by God in seeing the future and so kind of like that TV show Early Edition where he tries to change things for the better or help crew avoid mistakes... and yes,, he is a Christian like his late mother !!!
There is a young female engineer that is very talkative.. talks really fast too when excited,... as she will design and problem solve engineering stuff as well as fathom alien technology.
I am not sure if that is all i have in the back burner of my mind when devising this but again, not sure if the Lord will permit this avenue or not for ministry.
Any one care to weigh in? Do keep in mind that when the Lord is not leading me elsewise to post as I normally do... He may lead me here to write stories instead.
