What does your age have to do with Jesus. That is a very personal question and one I would not partcipate in as I would rather focus on Jesus which is what this site is all about.

Sharing Jesus with others to bring them into the Kingdom so they will not go to hell when Jesus returns.

God bless

Age does matter when taking Jesus across people. It would be seriously good if one could relate to the one who is preaching.

And i created this poll so that everyone may know that their age group is present in TJ... Btw, no need to post ur age! lol..

I am 67 I try to bring such wisdom as I have, serving Jesus for 50 years .

Recently at a meeting where I brought an exhortation from scripture,..

Charlene Mason sang "I will not pass this way again" giving obvious pleasure to the congregation". HaHa

I hear what you are saying, I believe age is relevant to some degree.

Think teenager talking with an 80 yr old about the adversities he is facing in school. It probably wouldn't work.

:lightbulbWe do have to remember though that age has no bearing on how mature someone is in Christ.
It is possible for me to seek counsel from a 20 year old, if he/she has the knowledge, wisdom and understanding of God and His Word and to the contrary I wouldn't necessarily seek counsel from someone who is alot older than me, just because they are. Older and wiser, is not necessarily so.

I am 42 by the way.

Hi. I'm nearly 47, and proud of it. Lol. In spiritual years, I am only about 20 years old, though, because I walked with Christ for about 4 years as a child, and then I re-dedicated my life to Christ (and major repentance!) 16 years ago February. So that makes me about 20 years old, spiritually!

I don't mind being 47. God has blessed me with His mercy and I'm in good health. And hair dye doesn't hurt either, lol.

Most of my friends seem to be younger than me. But I do like people of all ages. I look forward to the day that I see Jesus and can live with Him.

But....in the meantime...I'm going to LIVE! I don't want to sit around and let my dreams die (that's why my name is Dreamer), and I want to see the things come about that God has promised. I love to see people be saved and set free. That will never change, no matter how elderly I get!!!

I am 57, and have no problem telling anyone my age. I'm glad that I even made it on earth to the age of 54, otherwise I know that I would have gone to hell when Jesus returns. And I had very good chances of not even making it to 30 here on earth, believe me. God saved me.

I love Jesus and I let it be known. It is going on seven months that my older son turned his back on me, because I sound like "a church person." Believe me, it hurts. I am carrying my cross, and that is in just one of the ways.

We are focusing on Jesus' gift to us - the sharing of the earthly years he has given to each one of us. The thought that I would have been 57 but unable to say so because I was dead is a somewhat depressing thought.

God had intention for Christians to fellowship. The Bible doesn't lie.

John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin." NIV

I hate to think of what a person looking at this site would think if he/she saw no fellowship, which means no love. Jesus was in no way uptight about fellowship. We can get our love for God across, and still minister, without looking like a stuffed shirt. I know that a stuffed shirt site would scare me away, and believe me, I do not stand alone.
God bless, everyone!

Chad, you are doing great at age 27! Let me tell me some honest truth about myself. At age 27, I left my second abusive husband. Five years later, I would marry my third (and stick it out with him for 20). Notice that I said, "Stick it out with him?" Sad, isn't it. In the meantime, he's probably saying the same about me.

You are doing great, Chad. Some day you will make some lucky woman a very loving husband that lives as Jesus taught us to live. And I know that you know that He has His plans for you. You will, of course, be the last to know.

These are two great examples as to how age can help: I've been married three times, many of you have not been married at all. I have 10-1/2 grandchildren (Oldest = 20, youngest = in the oven, due Sept.) and five stepgrandchildren. Every now and then, I refer myself to my grandchildren as, "The old one." They are not to agree with me!

Life is fun (even stupid at times) at any age, yet we have a lot to learn from each other. God bless you, brothers and sisters!

HappyCat

Amen, Happy Cat! By the way, I just noticed you are a female. I have been guilty lately of being busy and not very observant. The other day, I wished you a Happy Father's Day! I'm so sorry. What I meant was, Happy Mother's Day:)

Anyway, Chad....Happy Cat is right.

I'm 20 years older than you, Chad, and take it from me: You don't want to be unequally yoked. You need to make sure you're in God's will if and when you marry, for He has the right woman hand-picked just for you.

Yep Dreamer, my legal name: Cathleen (a female name, as far as I know). I am called Cathy or Cat. Whichever anybody prefers. When it comes to anything, and in this case it was my sex, I just love to say nothing, and watch the reaction when people figure out the facts. That is one way that makes life so fun. Uh huh, I also laugh at myself!

We all know that there will be no age in Heaven. I wonder if anyone will turn to anyone else and say, "Neener-neener, I saw ____ and you didn't, while I was on planet earth!" There will be no argueing, and God will not be saying, "Children, children stop fighting or I'm going to send you to time out." As it is now here on earth, I would love to play hide and seek with a kid, and I would make it good (hee hee)! I'll bet that Jesus would join in!!! I'd have to pray first though, that my legs would not go out from under me.

It is so wonderful to be happy in the Lord. I burst with happiness for His name. He had set me free from the bondage I was in for years, until I turned to Him and became saved. My life is filled with joy because of Him. The enemy attempts to pull me back down into his toilet every so often, but God pulls me up each and every time, and cleans me up (shines my soul). I will never be flushed downward again. Never. And I am so happy that I lived long enough to be able to be baptized, in the name of Jesus.

He loves His children - Young and "old!" Praise His Holy Name, and God bless you!

I am 60 , I like being 60, I can do about everything I could when 25 !
But seem to have a little more sense?
I do get a kick out of sports with young men, and I am still fast and strong!
They look a little amazed .When I out run them, or keep up with them!

But , I prayed the LORD would let me be like my great brothers Joshua and Caleb!
I believe ? He has to some degree!
I think ? I pretty much look my age!
I like being old!

my little girl goes in stores with me and sometimes asks? daddy , Why are so many old people here?
I say? Honey Daddy is old to.
She says , No Daddy your not old.
I say, Will you miss Daddy , when I go home?
She says? Your not allowed to die Daddy ever.
I just laugh!

Life is kinda nice when old? Just need to go to our Doctor once in a while for healing!
He has never failed me yet!
Of course I expect to dump this old body soon????

Go Spirit1st, go! "Dump the old body" is a great way to put it. But your poor little girl. "You're not allowed to die daddy, ever." How precious.

Life is very nice when old, just keep the tune-up's coming, which I have been horrible about doing until somewhat recently. I feel the same way on days when I feel "old," as I do when I feel "young." I would never want to go back. I'm on my way for better things!

wow, its really good to see everyone with their own real lives! Apart from an avatar, now i know atleast something about yo guys...

I think it is great as well - knowing something about the people we are having fellowship with makes it much better and more personal. Maybe we must ask more like what kind of work they are doing or personal things like that.

Myself I am 43 within the next 22 days and glad that I am, I always say that I never want to be where I were, I like where I am now much better. Experience, knowledge and lessons learn over the years is irreplaceble and worth more than anything else we can acquired from this earth. Possessions will stay here when we die but what God teaches us will be part of us forever.

Blessings!
