Bearing Another’s Burden
Read Galatians 6:1-3
The Goodness of God is all around us as we are able to read this message, breathe this air and see another day. The truth of this message is the more we live in sin is the more grace that we are living on. His grace is Sufficient for you and me. As the word says in 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” We don’t know how Great God is in our lives for we take Him for granted but to know that we are in our right mind is a blessing from God.
There are so many captured and in bondage by sin (lust, alcoholism, drugs and the list goes off). I know we all have our own burdens to bear and I know He would never put more on us than we can bear. Sometimes it feels like our problem is so overwhelming but the truth is we can bear it. That break up, the lost of a job, a love one, one disappointment after another it is all apart of building character in us.
It may seem strange and wonder what we need character for but we do. It helps us to be more compassionate and loving towards each other because we know that it was by God grace that we came out of a situation and we can give another person that confidence in knowing that God did it for me He will do it for you. As Paul wrote in Galatians 6:1-3 “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.”
Be Bless
