Many would like to think they are ready for heaven, in the concept of the Rapture. We should not be jumping to conclusions as if we think we know the mind of God, rather with joy accepting His plan for us.
Knowing our names are written in heaven, should be enough. And doing His will up to the time He calls us home.
So we need to think about coming events, and how we are going to work with eachother. Anticipating, the draw of the darkness, and how we are going to deal with it.
Already there have been mass shootings in Christian Schools, and instead of these things being condemned, they are being praised. Somewhat reminiscent of the Jews in Nazi Germany.
Even worse, will be the Mark of the Beast. This will cause many Christians to fall. And be carefull, and warry of ministers telling you it is "ok" to recieve the that Mark.
In short, we do not know God's plans. It may very well be, He chooses many of you to say behind.
The teaching of the Rapture fails to mention, the person left behind can very well be a Christian too.
Think of Enoch, he loved God, and God took him. Did Elijah love God any less. What of the Apostle John, it says right in scripture " The Apostle Jesus loved" yet he was the last to go.
It does not matter, how much you love God, and it should not matter if you are here on Earth or there in Heaven. Your name written in Heaven. Just be prepared, and help others to be prepared
