Believing in the unseen!!!

2 Cor 4:16-18
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I sat and gave this scripture some thought and then it came to me why so many have a hard time excepting the prosperity issue . So many of us even my self is a show me kind of person.
Salvation with some they have a problem believing in something they cant see but with holy spirit reaching their hearts it becomes revealed in time . Why is it so hard for us to stand in faith believing for prosperity in all aspects not just financial but physical and spiritual.
We grow frustrated because we don’t see it manifesting right away then we question God on why isn’t he answering our prayers. But isn’t that doubt?
Faith is never doubting only believing ! Believing in the impossible .
When I first became a believer God answered me right away in my prayers it seemed like immediately prayers and the impossible situations were answered. Its not that God doesn’t still answer me but sometimes he just wants us to believe . I see now then he was building my faith as a new believer a babe in Christ. Now its like he says ok you know my word you know it will be done but you got to exercise a little faith. I have been having some health issues for some time I don’t speak of them because I refuse to dwell or speak of them. I have been standing on Gods word ! I know I am healed I know I am delivered of all sickness and illnesses but sometimes the devil throws out them symptoms to make me fall in faith. But I have to keep my eyes on the unseen!
Because as the word says those unseen manifestations are eternal!
God wants us to believe with faith as a child. Think about that for a moment children are so quick to believe in anything you say or they hear. A child hears their parents tell them this is going to happen then that child usually expects that to happen they know it will even if it doesn’t right away they know it will because their parents said it would . Well we are Gods children so if he says its ours when it comes to our needs just believe it will happen don’t doubt by the unseen appearance that’s when you stand firm and say it is happening!

The biblical view of prosperity in a nutshell :

Jesus said, " Foxes have holes, birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." (Mt 8:20)

Jesus said, "...so do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'. For the pagans run after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well." (Mt 6:31-33)

Our faith is very important to God and as long as we have faith, He will provide. Take for instance, when Jesus fed the 5000.

Jesus was able to take the fish and the bread and feed 5000 people with it because He had faith in His father God to provide and God provided. Jesus told the 5000 to be seated (in faith) and then He distributed the food to those of the 5000 who were sitting. Those who were still standing, had no faith, thus they were not fed because they didn't believe...they had doubts.

You know you are healed and Satan wants more than anything to place those doubts in your mind to crush your belief in the works of The Almighty. Don't give in to the prompting of the Prince of Darkness, but recieve the works of God The Father. Bless you and yours!

He used back problems in my life to slow me down enough to listen and hear, not pleasant but necessary for my own welfare possibly. A thorn in our side can be just as much a blessing as a curse. We have to be prepared by Him for wealth or over abundance, or it can mean our ruination. How many people of wealth have you known where it caused more harm than good? Greed, hoarding, selfishness etc.
