Bible verses for those who want to understand the way...

Could anyone share verses that show that we can receive God's gift through good works or anything that clearly shows a person the way to come to Christ and have belief and conviction in their hearts?

ps I remember feeling saved when I read verses people gave me here and I want to help others now to believe in their hearts that Christ has shown us the way to salvation.

I know I didn't feel good enough and I just didn't get it. I pray the truth will set more free.

1 - Repent [ accept wrong doing ] Turn around . Change you're mind .
Luke 13:3 I tell you no ; but unless you repent you will likewise perish"

2 - Receive Christ . You need the Savior . Accept him .
John 1:12 But as many as received him , to them He gave the right to become children of God , to those who believe in his name .

3 - Be Born Again . This is what God does for you .This is the new birth - a miracle of spiritual life performed by the Holy Spirit .
John 1:13 Who were born , not of blood , nor the will of the flesh , nor the will of man, but of God . [ see also John 11:25 ]

4 - Rejoice publicly . Make you're testimony for Christ !
Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with you're mouth , the Lord Jesus Christ , and believe in you're heart that God raised him from the dead , you will be saved . For with the heart one believes unto righteousness , and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation !

5 - Request Water Baptism . This is an outward testimony , of an inward transaction .
Mark 16:16 He who believes , and is baptised will be saved ; but he who does not believe will be condemned .

6 - Read The Word . The word is the source of you're faith .
1-John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God , that you may know you have eternal life , and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God "

Stay in the word , and fellowship with the saints of God ! Congratulation's ! You are made complete in the fullness of Gods saving Grace ! Now enjoy TalkJesus , and make this you're Church home , until you find a local Church .

I find it so awesome that you want to talk to others about what the Lord has done for you. I have many scriptures that I like to read that help me when I am going thru tough times and when I am sharing Christ.



Luk 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
Luk 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

we are told by Jesus we are to repent from sin.


Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.


We are to have faith .

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

We are to let the Holy Spirit guide us.

Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mar 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.



We are to pray!
