I have heard people say I forgive a person, but will mark them and not let them do me wrong again.
But if we mark them and have nothing to do with them, how can we bless them?

There's often ways to safeguard against being mistreated without cutting a person off altogether.

Our instinct when we are wronged is to retaliate; Jesus says bless instead.

Seeing that someone is untrustworthy doesnt necessarily mean you dont care about them. I care about people who drink too much, but I wouldnt give them money so that they can use it to by more liquor. I might pay an electric bill or buy them food though, and pray for them.

That's a good plan. Blessing someone is praying that God will consider them and see to their needs, including their need for justice under the law. If someone you know is a criminal, you should pray to God to be mindful of them and hear them. You should do that, instead of cursing them. Cursing someone would be more like praying that God would forget them and ignore them. If God forgets them and ignores them, they'll keep getting away with their sins, because God won't be watching. Bless them instead. Pray that their lives will be examined in the courts of Heaven, and that they will receive their rewards, every man according as his work shall be.
