Do not limit God to using only people we approve of. That's foolish! God used a raven, a dirty bird, to feed the prophet Elijah. Nehemiah built the walls of Jerusalem with money provided by a heathen King. When God moves, those who would normally shun us may become the source of what we need. By avoiding them we may unwittingly block a blessing God had in mind for us. Our tendency to alienate certain people can handicap us in life. We cannot escape working with difficult people. God wants us to grow in the midst of negativity, not be sucked into it! So we must learn to get along with difficult people; our greatest challenge today may be the very person who assists and blesses us tomorrow.....
