Caitlyn *URGENT*

Caitlyn is a 10 month old girl and the daughter of my friend. She has meningitus and really needs our prayer. Here are some more details given by her mum via a blog!

My baby girl, Caitlyn, was rushed into hospital yesterday. She had a fever and was lethargic so I took her to the doctor, who called an ambulance after looking at her.
They think she has Meningitus.
She's 10 and a half months old...how can this be happening?
They wouldnt let me stay with her, cause I'm pregnant....my boyfriend is staying with her tonight. I didnt wanna go, didnt wanna leave her, but they made me. Now I dont know what to do. My son, Lee, who's 2 and a half, keeps waking up in tears saying 'wheres Cait?' 'when she coming home Mummy'...what can I say? I just dont know.

I stayed with her last night, and all day today, but then when Davey mentioned I'm pregnant; they asked if I'd had a Meningitus vaccine and I havent, and cant have it while I'm pregnant, so they made me leave. I can look through the window at her; cant touch her, hold her, comfort her...and thats all I wanna do

Its definitely Meningitus, more specifically Meningicoccal Sceptacaemia. She got a lot worse overnight and today. She's had to be intubated, and is in and out of consciousness. The rash is covering her body, can barely see her skin.

she's unconscious, still intubated, and has had to be resuscitated twice

Yesterday
Shes still unconscious and intubated, fighting for her life...i'm in pieces, as are all of us

(I have also spoken to Caitlyn's mother, Chloe. Aparrently the doctors have told her to prepare for the worst. Chloe Is in pieces, the family need our prayers!)

Please pray for healing for Caitlyn and peace for the family. May God help this family according to his will!

Father I ask you to undertake in this desperate situation and bring Your comfort and peace and love to this family. I pray that Your will be done for Caitlin and if she is to recover and return to the family may they rejoice in what You do an give You the glory. If it is Your will to take this little baby home then I pray that you really surround this family with so much love and peace and comfort as they dearly love this baby. I ask for healing in whichever way is Your will in Jesus' name amen.

GOD is with the family. Do not worry about anything. Be faithful in Christ and lean on Him. Remember, GOD spoke and the world was created. This is no difficult task to heal a baby He Himself created

update

The meningitus has worked it's way out of the system now but she has still not regained conciousness and the doctors say she may not recover so its more an option of when to turn off life support, but chloe doesnt want to accept that, she thinks the fact she hasnt got worse means she is going to get better! Please continue to pray! Thankyou! x
