Absolutley not. Heb 13:4. Sex is for marriage only. Sex is a great thing. God created it, but He created it for MARRIAGE; for husband and wife...not for your boyfriend/girlfriend.

Brother, I think that "by united as one" rlowe means married. When you are married you are united as one. Hebrews 13:4 speaks of marriage being honored by all and the marriage bed being pure. Jude 7 speaks against sexual immorality,

You know I have to really think about this one.

Originally, I would have to think "can a Christian couple sleep together in the same bed, with their clothes and pajamas on?" I would say yes, they can.

However, if the original question is "Can a Christian couple have sex", then I would agree and say "Only if they are married to each other."

Appearance of sin can be decieving, just because a couple sleeps together doesn't give us the right to believe that they are having sex together.

to Ed: I highly doubt that would happen, plus the temtation can overwhelm people sometimes. In the jewish culture, they were not allowed to sleep in the same bed until they were married, because sex happens. lol. Techinically, "sleeping" in the same bed wouldn't be a sin...but why push the temptation to the max? It's not fair to make the guy (or girl) face that kind of temptation. Just lust is a sin even if nothing happens; and the BIble says to avoid all APPEARENCES of evil. (1 Thess. 5:22)Other could think that a "Christian" unmarried couple were having sex, and that looks bad on the name of Christ.

I voted "no", even though the question is vaguely worded. It does not specify sexual intercourse. I can only assume that the couple are not married to each other and they intend to have sex or are intentionally exposing themselves to the temptation.
