Not according to scripture
Hebrews 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,
Psalm 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise?
Psalm 30:9 “What profit is there in my death, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness?
Psalm 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
4 When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.
Psalm 88:10 Do you work wonders for the dead? Do the departed rise up to praise you? Selah

Death is the absolute dividing line, no turning back.

And btw, I’m so damn frustrated at you guys just copy-paste walls of text of Scripture. That’s like preaching to the choir, or worse, preaching to the mirror. I know what the Bible says, I’m here to get a taste of what you have to say, to hear your take on “who do YOU say that I am.” And by that, it deepens my understanding of the Bible, ‘cause like that Ethiopian eunuch, there’s no way for me to figure it out all by my own wit.

All these speak of the physical body but the question addresses the unsaved living. And if God says to turn humans can turn.

I agree humans can and do turn.

Not taking a side yet but making an observation.

I don't think that those on the side opposite to you would say that humans don't turn,
they would say that they only turn because God made them alive in their Spirit or give them the gift of repentance.

How would you respond if someone said that to you from the opposite side?

I would ask if they believed babies are born "dead". Some in this camp say yes. Based on the Romen Catholic position of original sin, Total Depravity equals absolute incapability. I do not believe that is Biblical. People are not made capable because they already have the Spirit of God hence are already His children (Romans 8:9) or else over 80 scriptures are either a lie or an incredibly cruel trick on God's part.

For example, John tells to as many as accepted Him he gives the power or right to BECOME the children of God. Or Acts 2:38 where when a person does such and such they WILL receive the Holy Spirit. Not those with the Spirit will do these things. Or how about when Jesus says He knocks and whoever opens He will come into. So are we born dead? So the gift of God is a little condemned devil incapable of responding to the urging or word of God? I think not.

There are definitely scriptures which promote the need for personal responsibility.

Do you think that it is possible to have both perspectives be true?
Where our freewill is not a contradiction to God's making one alive?
Just a question probing your thoughts, not a statement articulating a position.

Definitely! And this does not mean Salvation is something we make happen. When God knocks on the door of our heart or when we hear the Gospel we CAN respond (though many will not) but even this does not make us saved but what it does is encourage God to work on us. In the end He still KNOWS exactly what we will do. For example, where many in Ephesians 1 stop at verse 12 but if you read on Paul summarizes his point. AFTER you heard the word of God you trusted and THEN you were sealed with the Spirit (not first off). Do you realize that this is the same pattern established in Genesis? God, foreknowing what Cain is about to do FIRST offers him grace. He audibly speaks to him and says "If you go and do it right, will it also not go well with you?" And further He warns him that if he does not then sin lurks at the door waiting to rule over him. But grace was offered and the word was heard, and had Cain responded appropriately (which many do in the Bible), he would have avoided the consequence of his intended action, but alas he would not.
