I know in Star Trek, the original series, they have made a reference to the One God that was sufficient to Kirk in Apollo episode and then a realization that this mirror earth where Nazis rule, Uhura announced the Son of God at the end of that episode.
But it seems more and more, they veer away from that because of the evolution theory and now towards sexual immorality.
Originally, one would even get a hint at suspecting Kirk being a lady's man, leaving illegitimate "bastards" all over the galaxy, and there were places where one may think Mccoy may have given in to that temptation to wit the Next Generation would take a far more interesting turn to watch as just before and during the time Next Generations was starting out, but it does not look like any one is fathoming that for a new Star trek series.
I could see these children as young adults getting together by fate or by God's hand in being Buccaneers operating a declassified & now defunct Federation Starship that is classified as only a transport vessel to make necessary deliveries to various outposts in the galaxy and not an official part of Starfleet. I would like to see that transport crew play cowboy diplomacy when the need arises since they would not be hindered by the Prime Directive but love they neighbor as they self golden rule to follow and yet have an anonymous Good Samaritan rule set forth by the Captain just to stay off of every body's radar & not just Starfleet's, the Romulan's, Klingons, Cardassian's, and the coming Dominion War.
But Woke as far as the LGBTQ's campaign goes, has invaded Star Trek and now the MCU, thinking they can change a beloved character's sexual preference without offending the fans. Enough of that.
When I look at Gene Roddenberry's view of Star Trek, I see a nightmare coming in the form of the New World Order.
How is it that they need no money nor currency other than some kind of mark of the beast system?
How can they be free to pursue whatever they want in having everything provided for them on earth unless someone is working for that provision? I can see automation but still, repairs are needed.
Then like Picard, they can grow grapes for winery as that was his retirement plan, but anyway.... not everything is replicated and not everything is automated for that society to run for everything to be provided for them.
And then for them to do trade with other worlds like creating gems by the warp engines or something, makes me wonder how Starfleet can do trades unless they have a credit or currency to barter for trade?
Makes me wonder if there is a darker side to Star Trek we are not seeing. One can get hint of it when they were using the Doctor from Voyager's EMH for mining and other hazardous producing sites throughout Starfleet.
Who were they using before that?
And to think of knowing how the Cardassians had invaded Bajor & enslaving the Bajorans that this would not be a temptation for any one to butt in and do some deliverance when a mass execution is scheduled to take place.
But Gene can dream. Not sure how realistic it can be. If the Democrats cannot make it work, one can see how California is falling apart, how can a New World Order work, let alone Star Trek?
And for Commander Riker to have sexual relations with members of his crew is something the Navy in real life would frown on. How can anyone prove that those under his charge were compelled to because of the consequence of saying no to a ranking superior officer? But I reckon Hollywood's immorality had to play that card to show how Troi is not bothered by Riker's fornication even though Riker is Troi's "Imzadi" which I took it to mean soul mate or something.
We all know what people say about after having fornication in the media entertainment world; it doesn't mean anything. And yet if one says no to the other in having fornication, it is offensive and means something then.
Forget about being a virgin without any one insinuating you are gay because you do not want to have sex before marriage, but I digress.
The sexual immorality that is increasing in Star Trek as it is in our media entertainment is why I do not believe Star Trek could ever happen in real life. Look at how human beings are compromising the internet. Imagine what they could do with interfacing with technologies in space?
Can there be a Christian theme in Star Trek? I do not see how when it is an imagined reality that denies Him by that evolution theory and it is getting worse and worse regarding sexual immorality as the series progresses.
I do wonder if there will be a real Star Trek after the great tribulation when there is a new heaven and a new earth? But I have reasons to doubts that there will be any other earth.
Isaiah 45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. 18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.
Or will there be a real Star Trek after death is thrown in the lake of fire and the kingdom of Heaven is completed that Jesus hands it back to the Father?
There may not be a Star Trek at all, but maybe the first fruits will be like the angels that can take glorified terrestrials, the generations coming out of the 1000 year reign, to visit places as if like " Q " can with a snap of a finger just to see the wonders of God's creation in space up close & personal? I know not... yet, but as it is, in my honest opinion, there can be no Christian theme in Star Trek TV series when here is so much works in it that denies Him.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
