To fully understand the Title Thread. One must come to terms and understand The fall of Mankind, that Humanity had become a "slave in Bondage to SIN". MAN 1st was created to rule but now has become a "SLAVE" and In BONDAGE. That Day He DIED a "Horrible death"!

GOD does not lie, men do and they go at great lengths to do so, since the day mankind ate from that Tree. And they have been Lying ever since.

(Genesis 2)ASV
"Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; BUT from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.”

GOD is "IMMUTABLE"

And they want us to trust them. We have history, those who are old enough to experience it and don't have Alzheimer's Disease and are long time memory is still intact. :pensive:

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power(authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(Matthew 28:18 KJV-ASV)

Satan is the King of this world, Jesus intends to gather up his flock and send them to a life in paradise for eternity, what happens here is irrelevant to that objective.

Many do think that when JESUS got up from the Grave then he receive all power in heaven and earth. But He always had all power in heaven and earth, he is The Creator of all heaven and earth. He always been the Son of GOD. And he created ALL ANGELS! Satan too!

Matthew 28 is only statement of who HE is.
Martha I AM The RESURRECTION!, I AM ALL POWER! Right now And ALWAYS has BEEN! No ones kills me, I lay it down, and I Raise it up again! I receive This Command from My FATHER!

Matthew 11:27 :eyes:
All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal

Satan is the King of this world,
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power(authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(Matthew 28:18 KJV-RV-ASV)

It either means what says, or it does not.

In what scripture, therefore is it written "Satan is the King of this world." ??

My uncle told me something along time ago when i was a kid: Do not feed a devil with a long handle spoon, he will get just as fat on a long handle as he can on a short handle one. And The bible says" "

American Standard Version
And wisdom is justified of all her children.

So then there IS no scripture that says "Satan is the King of this world."

Got it.

Funny, when the article says
He (Satan) is the "ruler of this world" in John 12:31.
It seems to completely ignore the fact that Matthew 28:18 came AFTER John 12:31. That omission is nearly criminal.

And lest we forget what 2 Cor. 4:4 actually states -

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV)

So it doesn't say that Satan is the God of this world either. The word Satan isn't even there. Shouldn't we be warned against adding words into the scriptures? (cf. Rev. 22:18)

It also doesn't help that "age" is mistranslated as "world". The κόσμος (world) isn't the αἰών (age).

So what would be the god of the age in which Paul is writing? The god as taught to the Jews, that was the god of the age.

in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there doth not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God;
(2 Corinthians 4:4 YLT)

When the Bible says Satan has power over the world, we must remember that God has given him domain over unbelievers only
But the Bible does not say Satan has power over the world. It DIRECTLY and EXPLICITLY states that Jesus has ALL power upon the Earth.

Is the following verse true or not? (It's a simple question.)

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(Matthew 28:18 KJV)

Why would anyone try to explain this truth away?
