Christian music used to have a very special place in my heart. In case you don't know, to most unchurched and biblically illiterate "heathens", the gospel is preached through lyrics first, through the sermon second and through the bible last. The primary purpose of those classic hymns was to educate the congregation. This was also how I met Jesus and got interested to dig in the bible in the first place, no kidding. These days? All vain repetitions. Since 2020, the only one I enjoy that's extraordinarily good that could bring me down to tears is Endless Praise by Charity Gayle, and out of this album, Thank You Jesus for the Blood, Endless Praise and I Speak Jesus are the best. Beyond that, nothing worthy listening.
