Dear Lord God, when we read and hear about some of the horrible things that people do to each other we are really depressed, wondering how can people be like that? The answer is sin, greed and a total absence of any empathy or even a shred of love. When we hear also that it is our brothers and sisters that are so often on the receiving end of such horrible treatment we cannot help but weep.

Lord God, we pray for those organisations such as Barnabas Fund and others that work so hard at trying to redeem our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. I pray Lord for a very special financial blessing on these organisations so that they can work with more and more people, freeing them from this terrible situation they find themselves in. We pray Lord that ways and means can be found at abolishing this barbaric situation.
