Greetings in the Lord

Paul said,
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Tim 3:16,17

Paul said,
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew now Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal. 3:26-28

Paul said,
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
But I (suffer) not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 1 Tim. 2:11,12
And goes on to say in 1 Tim. 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Wait....what? I have heard many say "what was Paul thinking?"
Brother Paul contended with the flesh just like we do. These couple scriptures are way off base according to the rest of the Word.
Could it be the spirit of a Pharisee rose up in Paul; yes, it could.
Paul also knew the "natural brute beast" of man, as the Word calls man, because he had already endured many afflictions, persecutions, ship wreck, false accusations, jail......
Paul did not say a woman cannot teach: he said he would not (suffer) a woman to teach.
And a woman will be (saved) in childbearing........wait, what!?
Now does that sound like what we have learned by the teachings of Jesus?
Lord, he had just preached to the Galatians that there is neither male nor female. This whole passage contends that we are spiritual beings: as God is a Spirit, and we have been baptized in Him, by Him, for Him. Yes, we contend with the flesh. But greater is He that lives in me, than he that is in this world; and that includes self.
Paul contradicts himself, all by himself.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

Let's look at another instant where someone was contending with the flesh.
Let's go to Mark 8:24 Jesus has led a blind man out of the city to heal him, He spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, and asked him if he saw ought, (perhaps, Jesus had some compassion issues because He was contending with His own flesh). v. 24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
After that, v.25 He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

People we are spiritual beings; righteous, or unrighteous. The Word tells us to choose whom you will serve and do it.
We must come out of the flesh, and look through our spiritual eye (the heart).
I believe whole heartily in God, and I stand in all good conscience with God:
I contest brother Paul's scripture about women remaining silent, women are saved in child bearing.
These things do not line up with the Word of GOD; but, very appeasing to the flesh of man.
If a woman is married, I agree with Paul, that she should be keeping her house in order, rearing the kids, cooking, cleaning, reverencing her man.
The woman makes man's circle complete. Remove the woman out of the circle and everybody falls down, even the dog is beside himself.
The Word tells us a married woman seeks to please her man. This is good; a family in unity, being in one accord in God is very good. The man is the head.
An unmarried woman seeks to please God. This is good; a woman in one accord, walking in unity of God; in Him, by Him, for Him. God is her Godhead.

God is ALL, and in you all.

I have to confess a couple days ago I put something out there that was untrue, a test; and not one of you spirit filled believers contested it.
Brother @lentz I applaud you for at least asking a question concerning such.
Now, the correction for all who apparently missed my "test".
Brother @lentz , the devil, yes Satan, himself, has already been cast to the earth when Jesus die on the cross and judgment began.
It has absolutely nothing to do with me, or when "this body falls", and I am nothing but a child of God.
God first; it is always about my Lord Jesus.
Forgive me and my "test"; God is the only one who can and will unveil the scriptures to us. Lean not to your own understanding.
When God unveils them, they become alive on the page by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit of truth.

Now let's go back to 2 Tim 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Glory be to God, y'all; put on Christ.
All praise, glory and honor be unto God. Amen

Paul had Apostolic authority, just as all the Apostles. They set the doctrines we live by. We all live by those doctrines today, only because Paul wrote his letters.

I agree.
It still doesn't mean brother Paul wasn't contending with the flesh at times. We all do.
It doesn't mean his writings are not a help and an aid to us, because they are. Just like these post we write.
But this old gal wasn't saved because I can bear a child,
I was saved because of Jesus sacrifice on the cross.
Child bearing didn't wash away my sins. Christ did.
Child bearing didn't raise me up a new creation in God. Christ did.
Child bearing didn't get me reborn in the Spirit. Christ did.
Only Jesus...He did all that; not child bearing.

It goes against what Jesus taught.
All glory be unto God who pointed this out to me.
If one does not know Him, one can be deceived very quickly.
God leads us in all wisdom and understanding by revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Only He can unveil the scriptures.

God first, always.

Paul was making the argument of position in the church and at home.

1 Timothy 2:13-15 - For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.

The fact that Adam was not deceived, and the woman was. Men are to be the leaders in home and in the church. In a general statement, Paul said the women's position is saved in childbirth, raising a Godly family. The women still need salvation through Jesus Christ, but Paul is referring to the position in the family and the church.

Paul had Apostolic authority, just as all the Apostles. They set the doctrines we live by. We all live by those doctrines today, only because Paul wrote his letters.

Agreed. Nothing is in the Bible that shouldn't be. Nothing.
Once we start picking a and choosing what is correct and in-correct in the Bible, anything goes.

I can say I don't like this part about not killing people, that must have been a mistake. God didn't really mean that.
Oh, and that part about not stealing and not lying, Moses was having a really bad day, so we can throw that stuff out.
..and yeah, all that stuff about adultery and fornication, I definitely don't like that stuff either. Let's get rid of it.
And all the stuff about hell, and the lake of fire, that just offends me... It gets tossed out too.

How do you pick what the "good" part and what's the "bad" part? Is it based on your feelings, emotions and preferences?
If we go by that, there wouldn't be much of the Bible left when we got done.

Paul said,
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

You forgot - 1Cor 14:34; The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says.
1Cor 11:3; But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.

None of this was a mistake, none of this was just for the culture of the Jews back in their day. God's rules don't change from generation to generation.

I agree with all of it. There is no pick and choose. Paul said what he said. Even Jesus contended with the flesh, and brother Paul is not more Holy then Jesus.
In the church or out of the church it's not an accurate saying that a woman will be saved in child bearing; it is not an accurate saying.
It also says a married woman, the head is her man, reverence him. She wants to please her husband.
An unmarried woman, Jesus is her head, she wants to please the Lord.

Even Jesus contended with the flesh.
Father take this cup from me, however not my will, but your will be done.
Father, why have you forsaken me?
The blind man that saw men as trees, walking.

We all contend with the flesh. Everyone of us.
If only married woman can be saved in child bearing; where does that leave the unmarried and the virgin?
It bypasses the cross and does not give honor or glory to God for having a child.

They screamed blasphemy at Jesus because He was forgiving people of their sins.
Who can forgive sins but God.

I have been taught, as well as you, that confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior of my life I am saved.
Nothing is said I'm saved through giving birth; except brother Paul's inaccurate statement.

Glory be to God. Amen

Once again, the Apostle Paul put the childbearing in perspective of Adam and Eve. The position of the woman in church and at home. As Eve is the mother of all creation, the General statement of the Apostle Paul, said It is the position in the hierarchy of Gods order. The woman has a position that is saved in childbearing. Meaning, it is important to the family of God that the mother is representative of the church and raises a family.

Ephesians 5:24-26 -
As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.
25 For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her 26 to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.

Unmarried and virgins have no rule. Only the married have a position in God's order, in the church and at home..

Greetings in the Lord
The flesh looks upon male and female... and nationalities.
The heart reveals spirits.
God is a Spirit.
All glory honor and praise be unto God.

Not everyone can have children. There are both men and women who can't have children for medical reasons. Also there are people who never marry.

But it seems it was mostly God's design for people to marry and have children.

Gen 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Gen 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

The first command given to humans ( even before the fall ) was to have children.

Gen 2:22 The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
Gen 2:23 The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man."
Gen 2:24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.

"they shall become one flesh" - a mysterious statement to some. But myself and many other's take this to mean that two people ( a man and woman )
Come together to make "one flesh" a new human, that is part of the man and part of the woman.

Gen 3:16 ; To the woman He said, "I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you."

As I mentioned earlier, some people can't have children. Even those who want to. In many cases they can adopt if they want to. Even single parents can adopt, but it's a much harder life for both the parent and the child with one parent.

Matt 19:12; "For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept this, let him accept it."

Psa 113:9; He makes the barren woman abide in the house As a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!

None of these verses written here, were written by Paul. However Paul does write...

1Tim 4:1; But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
1Tim 4:2; by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,
1Tim 4:3; men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

Which seems to conflict with...

1Cor 7:8; But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I.
1Cor 7:20; Each man must remain in that condition in which he was called.

It seems Paul himself wasn't married. But many of the apostles were. Which brings us back to...

1Cor 9:5; Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas?

The "brothers of the Lord" would be James and Jude. Cephas is of course Simon Peter. Which brings us back to...

(NASB) 1Tim 2:15; But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint.

If you can't have children, I don't think God is going to hold that against you. But on the other hand, if the reason you don't want to get married, is simply because of selfish reasons,
then believe we will be held accountable.

Less and less people are getting married these days. Now of course some will live in fornication, but others will choose to live alone with their cats and dogs because relationships
are messy, difficult, sometimes expensive, and often hard to maintain. People don't want o put up with other people, they don't want to spend time, money and effort on other people.
"Men or women ( as the case may be ) are too much trouble for me. I just want to be by myself". "Children are too much work, too messy, too loud loud, and too expensive".
I think people who don't get married, and don't have children for these reasons will be held accountable.

Yes again I agree.
However brother Paul was appeasing men in his letter to say such a thing. It goes against what the Lord taught abt being saved.
The Lord is the great divide between the old covenant and the new covenant. The old being the law, the new being the Spirit.
Praise God we are not under the law, but covered by the blood.
Brother Paul's letter, in part, clung to the law and not the blood covenant.

People will be held accountable, at judgement, for what they know...what God has written upon the tables of our heart.
What God has unveiled, yes we will be held accountable.

The eyes of the flesh looks upon male and female, and nationalities.
The eye of God, the heart, looks into spiritual matters; hearing and feeling the spirits that speak, without race or gender even being a factor.

All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen

I know I feel like this I been so frazzled lately having so much hitting at once but Yet YH holds me close through them

Imagine yourself in the shoes of the Jews when Jesus and John walked the earth, and Jesus forgiving their sins.
They seek a sign, even though they watched Him heal in their synagogue.
Thank you and God bless you too.
