Often, we cope with a tell.
Sometimes a whisper, or a yell.
Times are hard, this we confess.
In many ways, trouble manifests.
In places hard, it’s not so easy,
Until we say, to Jesus, "Free me!"
Know this though without a doubt,
He's not within and then back out.
He's here to stay, He knows the route.
To your heart, inside and out.
We cannot hide from Him who knows.
The battles we've bore, the scars we show.
So turn to Him, pray toward His will.
Watch Him light the path toward that hill.
Where hope is found again top of the knoll.
Because we on Him again did call.
We did not wallow, nor try it alone.
But chose the path to Him that was shown.
