I almost didn't go to work b/c of a migraine. So busy I barely looked at my phone so missed the call until I saw the notice on my phone hours later.
She was a Christian who went to a nearby church. She's been in an assisted living place for the past few months after a fall and she had Alzheimer's.
I don't know what to call it when you don't experience death close in your family. We weren't that close but as most here have lost someone we know the harsh truth of it.

I'll admit I'm numb to a lot of things. Despite disagreements on here, I feel we need unity more than ever.

It's good that you share this with people, it's part of a healing process to share your thoughts and feelings.

But it's also really good to share these thoughts and feelings with those who are your family and friends who can empathize with you more closely.

I will keep you in my prayers. May the Lord's love fill your heart and give your mind peace.

I don't know anyone on here. IDK if I'll ever meet another Christian from here.
It's hard to convince others of what we believe. Our existence doesn't stop at death and for Christians, we're going home.

I know many may not feel up to sharing such a personal thing but IMO, we must.
I empathize with others who have lost someone. The bond can be so strong it physically hurts and can cause lasting damage.

In these times, there are likely higher odds of death and more often.

I know we are at odds on things here and there but even I am sometimes stubborn in being corrected.
God must be at the start and end of our days at a minimum.

In the end, we are still God's Children no matter how we fight with eachother, or think of eachother.

Love your neighbor as yourself

Love your family as yourself
