I would like to know is sleeping with my girlfriend a sin although we aren't having sex? We did have sex before but we don't anymore. Any advice. We are believers.

Since you you have declared you have been "Born Again" you know "The Truth" for "The Spirit of The Living GOD" is in you! And The "Holy Ghost" did not lead you to "sleep beside your girlfriend" The devil did! he is slick and cunning! Now are you are trying to get permission for your actions! Well you not getting any!
And i do not think, "You are a Eunuch! So you are drawn by something else and it is not "Holiness" or "sanctification", which is God's will for you!
Now if you are a "Child of God" it is a Trap!

Dear Brother,
Simple answer is at the moment is "no", but....of course there is always a but because it's never as simple as what you present. A lot of questions/answers are left out. Such as, are you living together, meaning sharing rent, and the other necessities of what living together means. Are you living in maybe your families house etc.? However, as you know (hopefully) you have sinned, because you did have sex before being married. As Brother PloughBoy has shown you in Scripture that is diffidently the case and that makes you both sinners. Also, you say you're not actually having sex, but aren't you tempted to? Why open the door for the Devil to tempt you into sinning even more???
So, unless you get married, or separate into dating without the extras, you will find that trying to build a relationship without the Covenant between a Man and a Women before God isn't going to do you/her any good, much less in your growth in getting closer to Him.
Now, the problem, you have is that in this World what you are doing, is not seen as being out of the ordinary, and is acceptable. However, being both believers, you should both know that you are not of the World though you are in it and that living a life of Holiness is what you are both called to. Now, if you both can't do without the flesh involvement, then God has provided Marriage as a way to still that urge, and still allow you both to walk in the Spirit. Living together much less sleeping together is not going to do it, nor help either one of you to walk in the path that God is laying out for you both to walk.
Both of you should get together and pray about it. Get with the Pastor and wife to pray with you as well, and seek their guidance/counseling. Different societies have unique methods for how two young people get together to know if marriage is the way to go for them. Which doesn't include sex, by the way. Some are set up by the parents, where the perspective bride and groom never meet, others look to courting rituals that have supervision, a methodology to how and how long before marriage actually happens. Sadly, in the west this has become less, less prevalent, and is worse because they'll tell you that pre-martial sex is part of the process!
So, if you were looking for approval from believers here at Talk Jesus. I'm sorry you're not going to get it! You do have Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus who will pray, and hopefully in the Spirit offer words of guidance. You might even have the girlfriend join. We do have a women's forum she can pose questions to our Sisters here for help with. I was going to move this thread of yours to the Men's Forum, but believe that maybe also receiving some responses from some sisters might help you as well.
Anyway, we are here to help as the Spirit of God moves us to. Nobody said it was going to be easy Brother!!

There are dangers when that is disobeyed. God made the sexes to be attracted to each other, else we would not reproduce and all would all perish.
When you touch each other, physiological and other reactions are set in motion. Unless you have God guiding your actions, you have the enemy guiding them. Satan wants you to lust for the fleshly rewards and to fail to declare your intentions before God. So it would be a huge open door to demonic influences if you skipped the "honor God" part and went in for merely the flesh.
The "dating scene" is a plot from the pit. Avoid it at all costs.
