Defund Police (Prophetic?)

I switched off after the first two and a half sentences. I heard 'America is on the verge of civil war. All the protesting is being allowed by the tge left wing mayors. God gave me a word...'

Exaggerate the situation, mis-diagnose the problem, then claim divine authority for whatever comes next. Not great.

I didn't listen to the video yet. But we have people here in Portland walking the streets with guns, hundreds of them everyday. Blocking off neighborhoods and major interstates. We have CHOP/CHAZ zones setup in Seattle and Portland
where people are claiming not be Americans. (possibly other cities as well, but this is where I live). Tearing down statues, defunding police, occupying police stations....
exactly what part do you think is exaggerated? Antifa is burning cars and businesses, they are being looted. It is pretty crazy here.

We can say the blame lies elsewhere, but this is only happening in far-left cities (i.e. Seattle, Portland, San Francisco) in far-left states. (i.e. Washington, Oregon, California)
Why are these things being allowed? Every single gun-dealer is sold out within a 100 miles of Seattle and Portland, that's not an exaggeration, that's the simple fact. Many people I know are trying
to buy some.

Now whether God gave this guy a prophetic word about this or not... I don't know.

They are pretending Britain is the same, but as the police and the populous don't carry guns, it's obviously not. Our problem is not the people, it's the government. Would that we had a Donald.

Here's a video explaining very quickly how inequality in America has been sustained. From the creator of veggietales no less

A good video. Most of what he says is true. He leaves out some things, for example he mentions that 101 out of 128 senators in southern states signed
some anti-segregation bills. (which is true) what he leaves out is every one of them was a democrat.

He also mentions housing from war bonds and GI Bills, My grandfather, my father and I were all in the military.
None of us got a penny for housing. I'm not if my Dad qualified for the GI Bill, but I know he never graduated high school.
I was in military but the Montgomery Bill was discontinued when I was in the service. No free college for me. It was started again shortly after I got out of the Military.

Still most of what he says is valid. But he ends the video saying that he doesn't know what to do... He just wants us to "care".
But if we say we care, it isn't good enough, because we don't "really" care. (I'm not sure how they determine this).

I've moved around quite a bit.. but at least four times in my life... a black man was my best friend. The worship leader at my last church was black. We had Bible study at his house.
There are no blacks at my current church.. (we do have a number of Hispanics). It isn't because my church is racist, there simply aren't many blacks here.

The problem with video like this is they explain the problem... (we already know what the problem is)... but they don't explain a solution, other than to "care".
Well... I do care... honestly and sincerely I care. But does that solve anything?

Jas 2:9; But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.
Jas 2:10; For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

Jas 2:14; What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him?
Jas 2:15; If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food,
Jas 2:16; and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?

Agree with you completely. And the conclusion 'I want you to care' was weak in comparison to the rest. I guess he's aiming at people who blind to the problem, don't understand what's going on. If so 'caring' is a good place to start.

I'm heariby from black friends and colleagues that the most necessary thing to start with, is to learn to listen well.
