Hi everyone I need advice ive been through many tradagies in my life including losing. Children and I've struggled with a very dark depression most of my life iam Christian and without God I couldn't mAke it. I've tried therapy meds all sorts of things to lift this depression that I've had for years I was diagnosed with clinical depression do any of you have advice. Part of it is from the loss of my kids I'm tired of struggling with this each day I live I need peace

Welcome

First and foremost welcome to the community denise04. I'm not very sure this is the right place to post this as i feel it would not be able to get the attentions it needs for you to be able to get a quick feed back. But nevertheless let's take a look at your post.

"i'am Christian and without God I couldn't mAke it."
I’m very glad to see that denise04. Part of a being a Christian calls for us to thrust in the Lord through all of our trials no matter how hard it might be. And let’s face it...It’s easier said than done. Coming from someone who struggles with depression as well I will let you in on a little secret. The pills and all don’t do all too well as knowing someone is praying for you or praying yourself and knowing God is listening. If you hang on to His promises He will NEVER let you down. The struggles you face now or but for the moment even if it feels like forever. The pills can't justify your loss but the Lord can. In Him you will find relief and the peace you need. It's the peace of the Lord that will set you free. All that we feel and go through He also feels and goes through with us. We are not alone. You are NOT struggling on your own. He feels your pain too.

Blessings

Dear Denise,

Thank you for writing in and sharing your personal hardship.
I would like to lead you through the Word of God to help you understand.

Proverbs 12:25 says:
" Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad."

So what causes Depression? Anxiety which is another downline word for Fear.

After having lost your children, I think you are anxious ( troubled, concern, worried) about your future. You do not know what to do. You think that you will lose something else.

The Word of God says in Phil 4:6-7:
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Is 46:4 says:

"Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you."

So do not be afraid Denise about your future, the LORD is holding the future... keep trusting in Him. Live now with Christ who is the Great I AM and not think of the future!

Also I see that there have been many tragedies in your life, which means you are under a curse.
There is a generational curse which has been passing through many generations in your line. The death of your children is a result of that.

I would like you to read and have a personal copy of this book to come under the Blessing of God forever :

"Blessing or Curse, You can choose"
by Derek Prince

I have posted the First Chapter of the book in the "Arts,Books,Movies" Forum.
It will help you immensely!

RISE UP and BE FREE in the name of Jesus Christ !!

I do not agree with the above made statements and with these Derek Prince teachings, just go with the word of God the Holy Bible.

You do not need to read that book in order to come under the blessing of God, in fact that book from Derek Prince is a snare in itself.

Sin is what causes one to lose their peace and to be in darkness. not a curse, curses have no power over a Spirit filled Christian.

1 John 4
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

First WELCOME aboard Denise,
My heart goes out to you. No mother should experience the loss of a child. That it happens is a sadness that goes beyond words. I cannot come up with words to comfort you, but I can share verses that I pray will provide you some comfort that only He can provide.
John 4:18
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Psalm 34:15
Lamentation 3:31-33
Psalm 145:15
Psalm 46:1
Psalm 55:22
2 Corinthians 1:7

Praying that He will comfort you and hold you in His loving embrace. In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

Because of the times we are in we must learn to get and stay filled with the Holy Spirit.

I believe we seek God all the more today so we can walk in a holy manner with peace and joy. Proverbs says Joy comes from being close to God. Much of the problem in the churches and with individuals is they do not know or understand who they are in Christ. Receiving the Holy Spirit is nothing like being full or better BAPTISED in the Holy Spirit. In order to live a powerful Christian life we need to be empowered as the apostles were in the upper room.

Prior to that Jesus had breathed on them and said receive the Holy Spirit but then he told them to wait to receive power from on high in order to do the works God call them for and to have power over all the power of their enemies. Denise...It is important to know who you are in Christ.

Speak this scriptures out every day. Confess what God says and that will help you put on the mind of Christ.
It would be good it you can print these out or copy them to post in kitchen and in bathroom.

My weapons are mighty in God to the tearing down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, speculations, and every high thing which exalts itself against the word of God. I bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2nd Corinthians 10–4, 5.
The Lord has appeared for this reason to destroy the works of the enemy 1 John 3–8B
He disarmed Satan and made a public display of him Colossians 2–15.

Study the Scriptures daily–meditate on them–hide them in your heart.

Pray this prayer. Father God–I come to you boldly in time of need. I choose to be your child. I choose not to be depressed anymore. In the name of Jesus I break off every attack upon my mind upon my body upon my household upon my finances and I stand upon the word of God. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I shall live and not die. I am the head and not the tail. I am seated in Christ now according to your word in Ephesians. Your word that says I am healed includes healing of the mind. By faith I put on the mind of Christ. I allow the mind of Christ to well up in me and to rule my actions. I speak a hedge of protection around myself and my household. Holy Spirit please come to me and lead me into the Father's arms. Help me to worship God from my heart and to rejoice in your presence.
Forget what the world has diagnosed you with or as. Hear the word of God and what God says about who you are and believe it. Stand on this word. God has not given you a spirit of fear but a spirit of love power and a sound mind. Rejoice–the Lord is with you. You are the apple of his eye. From now on–act like it. Your father is God. Fear nothing. God bless you. Stephenelijah

A Few Things ToSuccess Over Depression.

A Few Things To Succeed Over Depression.

I as well have been thru the depression and there is just a few things to fight it with.
1. First you maybe in need of a sublingual B vitamin intake for when in undue stress our Bs are destroyed by excess acid. Once you take the sub Bs over a short period of time you can see the difference. It restores your serotonin level which helps to brings peace in time of trouble.

2. The second step which should be the first is to: Rejoice always and Make the joy of the Lord your strength. Rom 5.1-5 Phil 4.4
Neh 8.10 The joy of the LORD is your strength.

We at times have to fight ourselves to rejoice but it is a must.

Jesus defeated all things by scripture so must we.

Thru memory scripturewe have victory.

3. 1st Peter 5.7-8 Casting all your care upon him; for hecares for you.
Matt 6.34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evilthereof.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, asa roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

I was oppressed and depressed to the max for several years. When I began to put the three steps above into effect in my life everything started to change.

Depression is also of the devil we must resist it as such.Verbally tell it to leave in the Name of Jesus. You can do this under your breathe as well as other wise.
James 4.7

Above all Rejoice in The Lord Always

thanks for all the advice being depressed dont mean i dont have faith in God i been through to much in my life and it gets extremely hard and unless youve lost a child youll never no what hurt it is thanks for the advice

And it is for that very reason that you can turn to God! He does understand! What does John 3:16 say? "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [SUB]q[/SUB] Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For the love of us who love His Son He allowed His Son to die so that we might live! Tears well up in my eyes when I think of this. It not wrong to cry out to Him, to let Him carry your burdens.

I don't know the age of the child that died or the conditions that it happened. All I can say to you is to just remind you that He does understand and is there for you always. He is the great comforter 2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
Just give it all to Him little sister Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Don't rely on your own strength. He has plenty for all of us! Alleluia!
Allow yourself to be comforted.

Is it right for a Christian to be sick and poor?
The Word says, " just as He is, so are we in this world" 1 John 4:17
Is Jesus Christ sick and poor right now... in heaven ??!!!!

Think about it.

I myself was a in a bondage and read this book and I got free and I don't walk in fear or weakness.

God bless you

I've tried therapy meds all sorts of things to lift this depression that I've had for years I was diagnosed with clinical depression do any of you have advice.

satan doesn't have to kill you outright; he can merely steal your Godly walk. Were you expecting a more favorable outcome when you rather turned to the world (e.g. dia-gnosis, therapy, meds, etc.) for help? It is a question of authority: who do you look to, in your moment(s) of need, for the authority to do the things you do? Because if you look to this world for a solution, you will render to the god of this world.

Depression is something that happens to everybody at one time or another. Those who follow the ways of Almighty God are not immune, as depression came upon Elijah, Moses, children of Israel, Job, Jeremiah, Saul, Jonah, and Paul. My hope is that you will realize that you are not alone in your sadness, and that when we trust in God, our grief can turn into joy.

Sin is what causes one to lose their peace and to be in darkness. not a curse, curses have no power over a Spirit filled Christian.

That is wisdom.

We are set free not by positive thinking or clinical medicating (by our own or the world's efforts), but by looking to the God of the Bible. It is this method of attack that empowers you to beat depression.
