Moses, didn't want to go, Gideon didn't want to go and refused to be a leader of the people, Samson didn't want to go, King Saul didn't want to go, Elijah got tried and didn't want to go any more, Jonah didn't want to go, Jacob, gave GOD conditions in order for the GOD of His fathers to be his GOD.
(Genesis 28}BSB
"Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and watch over me on this journey, and if He will provide me with food to eat and clothes to wear, so that I may return safely to my father’s house, then the LORD will be my God".

Saul of Tarsus, was pressured to GO, in a sense he was threaten to go and to believe! Just think, if you have been sending people to prison, watching believers in Christ torture and consenting for some to be put to death and you was on your way to "Damascus" seeking out Believers in Christ to returning them back to Jerusalem as prisoners for questioning and possible execution, and the death of "Stephen" still was on your mind. Then all of a sudden, a Bright Light in the middle of the day, blinded you and knock you to the ground, and a voice came out of nowhere, that had a tone, you have never heard before. And the voice said to Him "I AM JESUS"! Now what would you do? You most likely would have done what Paul did. And better believe Me, at that moment you will not be thinking about, The Love of GOD or How I love Jesus! For Jesus, when he calls disciples, He calls them to died, He calls you to be a "Martyr" for Christ. which is what a "Witness" means. No exceptions. You must die in order for you to live.

Heirs with Christ (Romans 8).
"Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.…"
(John 12:24).
"Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life."…

And another matter:
The Resurrection Body
"But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” You fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. And what you sow is not the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or something else.…"

Psalm 139:16
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

God knows best. I trust him and believe nothing can add or take away from the days that God has ordained for me.
