This Friday we are going to discuss friendship. What are real friends and what does God say about it? Here are some versus in the Bible that you should check out and read and prepare for the discussion.
Proverbs 17:17, Proverbs 18:24, John 15:13 tells you what a true friend is.
Proverbs 27:6 tells you how a real friend will act.
Proverbs 13:20 tells about the influence friends have on you.
Luke 8:18, Philippians 2:4, James 3:2 tells how you should act to others (friends).
Luke 16:9, John 15:14 tells who to make friends with.
Try to study those places, really think through them, ask God to tell you what they mean, and be ready to discuss your thoughts, feelings, opinions and questions on friendship on Friday, 4:00 PST, GMT-8
Rules for the Teen Bible Discussion:
1. Be prepared to discuss what you were supposed to read and study for the week and have a Bible with you during the discussion.
2. Be respectful to everyone and their opinions, questions, thoughts and stories.
3. Stay on topic, and have Biblical references to help others understand your point of view.
4. Don’t argue or debate, it’s a discussion to help understand the Word and what God has to say to us.
5. If you have a particular topic you want to discuss, PM one of the leaders, (Princess487 or Forever89).
6. Tell us your opinions and comment on how the discussion is going and how to improve, again, PM one of the leaders.
7. Last of all, this is to get to know God better and come closer to Him.
God bless you all and remember to follow the rules, see you friday
