This motto refers to the fact that if a group is not united, it will not succeed.

Does that mean that unity is a primary precept to be maintained at all cost ?
We are told by Paul that division are works of the flesh , and to be avoided.....
Gal 5:19-21" ...the works of the flesh]......which are, ..contentions, discords, sects... they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God...

The question we are confronted with is this:
Should we join hands with all religion ? If we don't are we not going against Paul's instruction and risking to lose our spiritual inheritance ? Perhaps Paul was suggesting we practise interfaith ?

Understanding Paul's words in this manner would require amongst other things accepting the JW Bible, the belief that God is a woman, that he looks like an elephant or has eight arms ?

There exists religions in the world that are based on philosophy, science fiction, Mythologie or the occult.
Where do we draw the line ?

It should be obvious that Paul was NOT advocating an interfaith solution to the divisions that exist in the WORLD, but on the CONTRARY was warning to....STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism...
Joh 14:6-7 ... I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7. ...
2 Cor 6:17 ...Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you,
Also 1 Cor 10:21.

The schisme that is condemned by the Bible is creating division from the true religion (christianity) taught by Jesus, not separatedness from false beliefs.

Instead of finding out where or why Christendom is out of sync with Christ teachings, attempts at a superficial unity is endorsed by supporting efforts such as the ecunemical movement or interfaith which promotes existing divisions, when it should be condemning them.
The main reason for Christendom disunity is mixing Jesus teaching with philosophy and teaching from man instead of exclusively subjecting themselves to the law of Christ.

I am not certain exactly what you mean. You mention the cult Jehovah's Witnesses, and the feminist heresy of a female God. But at what point do you draw the line, what articles of faith do you believe necessary for unity of the faith? The National Council of Churches, (NCC), is considered an organization to be separate from in most fundamentalist and evangelical churches, but of the 37 listed Communion members, are there any in this list to bar unity in your mind?
